I'd assume it would end on the current chapter, I remember thinking that it's a perfect place for the ending of the anime while reading

I would say the pacing will be fine. There isn't that many chapters as is so if they went through 2 chapters per episode I think it will be fine

i couldn't even finish episode 1 and, personally i was kinda looking forward to this show
something about it was annoying and, i do think the pacing is a bit off
maybe that's just me but, it was a bit boring

The first episode seemed to have some pacing issues but the second episode was so much better. If they keep up with what they have been doing it should be fine.

Yeeaahhh not so much pacing issue as an error in direction (of episode 1.)

Played out like a filler episode; minimal storyline to “set up” for character’s explanations and flashbacks to show “how the character got from point A to B”. It was weird.

Currently there's 43 chapters so the pacing should be good. Mieruko-chan only has 39 chapters & it was fine with the 12 episodes.

i don't think it was an error in direction, it's just an issue with the first couple of chapters of the manga. the way the first episode played out was pretty much exactly the same as the manga.

Oh shit, really?? I didn’t read the manga (yet) but it still kinda felt choppy. Like any adaptation, the director could lay it out to a pace better suited for screen from paper, if in the paper form it did read well enough. I’m not completely slamming it down though. Just felt like I had to immediately rewatch to know where tf anything was happening. I still enjoy the characters and will be along for the ride.

i agree with you, the first episode does feel pretty choppy and hard to follow, but it honestly was exactly the same way with the manga. i had to read the first chapters over and over before i could figure out exactly what was happening lol

the director definitely could've changed it, but i'm honestly glad they kept it as a very faithful adaptation. and the pacing of the manga drastically improves as it continues, so i'm expecting the anime will get better too!
