| Bizarre new abrupt plot... So this supposed ghost is actually an old senile woman's poltergeist form in a monstrous child appearance haunting the house like a spirit... Meanwhile, the female teenage neighbor is a robot hater who attempted to destroy Mina... As much as I enjoy this story for the romance and development of character from the pairing, albeit with the lackluster unfounded start of the male protagonist unseriously proposing to his robot as a single man... I don't adore the plots so far, even though they weren't bad, but these two new ones are bad. Particularly the "ghost" one, while the neighbor one is aggressive. Super Mina is decent. I enjoy their relationship, but I don't like the hints of rivalry. The strict robot and kind human manufacturer duo was great. His little sister having a nonhuman romance fetish is funny enough. The mini bugged ai "child" of theirs is ok. The dialogue of teaching is a bit too long and boring, but it is kinda sweet and funny to see his odd personality and how he develops. The best is definitely the subtle free will (and love) development from Mina and her awkward intimacy. Having his uncle find out and later introducing his robot wife Mina to his family was not bad, but interesting as well. This romance somewhat feels like Chobits which I like, and is flawed as it continues to be, worse with this new plot, it still has decent potential. Hopefully it improves. ... I'm surprised Takuma didn't find out about Mina getting attacked though. Yet. |
