The studio could make more profit if they adapted the manga correctly. And there would be more than 12 episodes. Many studio make filler to make profit. But some studio just cut some manga chapters. But why??

If you look at the studio that made it, they often give this treatment to other popular series as well unfortunately. I think that they just wanted a quick buck.

If you are talking about this season, you can't say they rushed it... they changed whole fcking story... they made this whole season anime canon... The manga is 100x better than this with many amazing fights...

Yeah, the world would be dark without Light...
but without L, the world would just be a Word...

ig it was for the time. The time was less and as far I've heard that the anime should be release according to the manga release. I mean at the same time. So that's why ig it was rushed. Also i saw that the director has been talking to the author ( when the s2 came) that its was according to sui ishida's plan that s2 has an alternative ending. The director must have planned something for the tg:re. But then again the deadline and idk why tf director was changed. It was good until s2. Also the budget was low for the re. Ig that's the reason the director was changed and everything was haywire. Studio perriot should have given the re to a different studio with the same director(idk that's possible or not) but the major problem was the AOE that happened in s2. All in all it ruined everything.

Don't think it would be fair to say they rushed it. It was still very well made. Its just that when compared to the manga alot of the problems in the plot become extremely obvious.
Anyways:
> "Ishida-sensei also urged me to change stuff and go a different route, which is where a lot of the anime came from. We had a massive bubble of ideas, but as to not affect the lore of the original manga, it constantly felt like those ideas were being chipped away at by those above me. I tried my best, and I honestly don't have any regrets given the movement space I was allowed."
> Shuhei revealed that he "already knew that Season 2 was going to happen when [he] started Season 1," so the iconic torture scene involving Kaneki was planned out as a transition point.
> "Ishida-san had suggested for the first season to be focused on black hair Kaneki, where the second season would be focused on white hair Kaneki," Shuhei explained. "So we needed that traumatic experience to connect the two seasons and develop the character."
