I'm a romance and/or comedy animes enjoyer, but I want to try some animes that outside of my comfort zone. Is this great starter for my type or do you have another recommendation for isekai theme anime that has romance (harem also preferred xD)? Ecchi isn't necessary after all.

This series does not have ecchi scenes. Mild nudity is expected but it is there with a reason. For me, it definitely is worth to watch. You should try it out

it's got light moments, but there's one extremely upsetting episode. however, it handles sensitive subject matter better than...well, most things. Somehow. The girls are cute and badass, I'll say that much. and the MC invents gun magic, among other things.

but tbh you should be watching Mushoku Tensei first

I think you should give it a try. It may get a little bit boring after the first few episodes, but the last one that aired was really nice. Also don't skip the endings, as there are some scenes after it. This anime only has some nudity scenes, but they are not exactly ecchi (you will understand when you get there). Overall it is a very good anime.

I also recommend Mushoku Tensei, but in that case oh boi it's ecchi

This anime is good, but it does touch upon some themes that some may consider uncomfortable at times (it’s from the author of Redo of Healer). For a good Isekai that is, in my opinion, very underrated that touches on both romance and has a bit of a harem theme I’d recommend Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom). It has a second season coming up in the winter so you’ll have some more content coming if you happen to like it. Another one with a romance theme is Kenja no Mago (Wise Man's Grandchild). I don’t personally think its as good but its fun to watch if you’re not too picky. Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest) is also a harem Isekai which is quite popular and can also be fun to watch but it’s quality is average to fine at best.

This anime is OK,it's nothing amazing but at the same time it avoids a lot of the pitfalls most isekai have that just make them utter trash. If you want a good isekai with romance/ecchi I would also recommend mushoku tensei. Not only does it have those element but its also just a super good story with awesome characters.

The first season is a harem building season, the 1st ep might mislead you to expect a lot of action lol. Don't expect too much, and you might surely enjoy your time.

Start with Konosuba. Fantasy Isekai. No action, fighting. But you'll laugh your ass off through whole series. The movie was so hilarious too. For comedy Isekai, no other anime beats Konosuba.

For Action Isekai, you can check Rising of the shield hero. Even if you not into action Isekai. Just check out first episode. You'll definitely find this series interesting.

For brainer, Watch Log Horizons. Absolute masterpiece. This anime doesn't focus solely on MC. It has great world building and amazing story to build up even greater world. Do mind that, this anime shows more talking then action.

Try any one above these.
I personally rated,
Konosuba 9/10
Rising of the 🛡️ Hero 8/10
Log Horizon 8/10

Of course! There are so many Isekai. Mostly trash. But also good ones too.
Feel free to ask me anything about Isekai. I'm a Fantasy/Isekai lover. I watched over 250+ Fantasy/Isekai anime. So I have lil bit of knowledge about this genre.

Would say it's OK. The story is not to strong and there's not much Romance/Ecchi. I would recommend the following animes:

-Shield Hero (It's Harem, but without Romance, cause MC is either gay or dumbfounded - but the story is great)
-Re:Zero (Lot's of Romance, but it's not Ecchi)
-Kono-Suba (Comedy+Ecchi)
-Noragami (Romance - but not too much)
-Charlotte (Romance)
-Mushoku Tensei (Ecchi)
-Redo of Healer (don't watch - simply don't watch)
-Prison School (very Ecchi)
-Vanitas no Karte (Romance/Ecchi, but not to much)
-Danmachi (Harem, and a bit of Romance/Ecchi)
-Tsukimichi (Harem)

Not all of them are Isekainen, but i think you could/should like them if you like Romance...
Have taken a look on your profile - you have really watched every important RomCom, lol

Wait, Fruits Basket and Toradora are missing on your List - why?

This is pretty mid for an Isekai, it looks promising initially.

The characters come off quite robotic for my liking the story is stronger then the characters which isn't my preference, characters make the story imo.

In Terms of comedy I don't think there is an Isekai that can match it(or even come close), but outside of that I would say Grand blue hit's that level well though it's more of a slice of life. Also check out Gintama which imo Konosuba was inspired from.

(they do watch shounen action instead), I'm a loner on romance reference, and alot of people said that toradora has sad ending. and I ain't full recovered yet from I want to eat your pancreas, so ya know, it'd be great if I ever watched the show.

I personally think Grand Blue is the best comedy anime though, but it's not in a fantasy world but if you like the comedy elements of Konosuba I think you would like it.

In terms of Isekai I honestly really only like 3 and those are Mushoku Tensei, ReZero and of course Konosuba, the other two are more serious, Rezero is more psychological with romance(so it's probably not for everyone) where as Mushoku tensei is more Drama and there is a Harem element and romance but that will come later as the anime is still in the first season.

This was actually the anime i was most hyped for this season. And when i watched it......it was pretty good. I didn't expected it to be amazing or anything but it was still solid for me. The first few episodes were entertaining, while some of the later ones might bore you or lose your focus.

The main downside is the characters, they're alright and nothing more. The story is simple, but has a more serious tone than other isekais while still maintaining a charm to it. Also killer op btw.

I think most people would give it a 6-7/10. If you don't mind a more serious isekai thats more on the stiff side, this is a pretty good anime. I personally would give it a 7.5 (round up to 8 on mal) but thats just me on this one.

Unfortunately for this show, it is definitely overshadowed by some of the god-tier anime this season (MT,86,etc).

Fruits Basket is primarily a romance, the fantasy part is not so important in my opinion. There is a lot of crying and the whole story comes across as very innocent, but there is a happy ending. Toradora is quite funny at the beginning and gets more serious as it goes on. However, I wouldn't say that the ending is very sad. When it comes to rom-coms, I also like Bunny-Girl-Senpai and Love is War of course. Tonikawa was also great - cute and funny. SNAFU is good es well, but there's no DUB in my language and you have to read very much and very fast with these neverending dialogues. Of course Koe no Katachi is the best Romance Movie, but i think it´s more a drama than a romance, isn´t it?

But I also watch almost everything, as you can read in my list ;-). (Well, apart from mecha and sci-fi) For me, the main thing is that the anime touches my emotions. It doesn't really matter if it's exciting, sad, romantic or funny.I can't do anything with these pure action shounen. If you want to try something other than rom-coms, I would definitely recommend RE:Zero as a start.

P.S.: If you want you can add me as a friend ;-)

I had huge hopes from the first couple of episodes of this anime, but after each episode it gets harder and harder to recommend. I would still recommend it because of how short it is rn, but if it kept going like it is now for 24+ episodes I could not recommend it.

Overall, this was not good besides a few scenes here and there; not to mention the uncensored tag as bait. It really was a mediocre anime with filler arcs that were completely useless like the whole "Merchant Training" arc. If I wanted to watch an anime about merchants, I would go for Spice and Wolf. Redo of a healer was much much more enjoyable than this trash...fr

The synopsis talk about defeating a hero, don't come here expecting to see one because you won't. It ended on a cliffhanger so basically, I just binge-watched 12 episodes that could really be summed into 2-3 episodes. I thought World Trigger dragged its training arc but it was worth it since the fights were nice, exciting and noticeable character development.

I dislike that nowadays, the anime industry has turned into a marketing fiasco. 5-7 years ago, studios didn't care about dragging an anime into Season 1 (part1 cliffhanger, part2 cliffhanger) then Season 2 (..). You get a good 12 or 24 episodes anime with a legit ending.

Heck! Even romance nowadays end on weird cliffhangers, and I get the point, they want to sell the manga or LN. However, I am more inclined to read a manga or take up a light novel if you give me a good first season and an understandable ending.

This is purely my own personal observation after finishing this anime. A newer anime viewer might find this to be good based on how many anime they have watched, heck even a masterpiece. I would much rather waste my time counting how many keys I have on my keyboard at least that would benefit me.
