I guess I had other priorities but I did thoroughly enjoy all of it. It’s a very interesting and unique style for sure. I love shows that tackle societal issues and highlight the darkness of everyday life. Great characters as well. |

Anyone can like beastars The way I explain Beastars to people who don’t want to give it a chance is “imagine if Zootopia was actually good.” I’m not a furry, and none of my friends are furries. My friends originally started watching it as a joke, but quickly got invested in the story due to the writing. They got me to watch it (which I judged it hard at first, thinking it was weird furry stuff), but after a few episodes, I think it’s a really great drama. I love Beastars. I really need to finish season 2 though. But people will be judgmental. Nothing we can really do. |
| Beastars is indeed a great anime but people love to hate on it because of it having "talking animals" but I think it shouldn't matter, as the characters, story, music etc are all amazing. It's basically like a lot of fantasy shows/games, where there's so many different humanoid species living together but no one really complains about them. So why is it a big problem if it's done the same with animals? |
| I have this argument with my younger brother often, who hates on it for being a, “weird furry anime.” I’ll admit that prior to watching the first season (I’m behind in season 2) I also thought it looked weird and didn’t get the hype behind it. Then I actually took the time to watch it, and though I’ll admit there were a few times it was a bit uncomfortable it was still a great first season for a series. When trying to recommend it to my brother, and trying to get him on board with it actually being a good show with a really interesting plot, he continues to snub it to this day. |

| Beastars is a show about animals teaching us things about humans. Saying that is true but also sounds hilarious because furries. Some people will just miss out because of this notion. |
