This anime is something else.

1 episode it's good the next its boring and slow🤷‍♀️ it's like an on and off situation.
Recent episodes have been even worse.

wanna drop this show tbh.

Judging from how the story has been, it’s more than likely going to be a slow burn focusing more on build up than it will the action. I’m not a light novel reader but that is the feel it gives off to me.

just drop it if you want, no one is actually forcing you to watch it, it's been "okay", like you say some pretty decent episodes some not so much, if you don't like it just don't watch it, there's plenty else out there

Controversially, it is. I really like the slow burn of it, it scratches a similar itch to some of the simpler slice of life shows that I like but I know a lot of others don’t.

I enjoy slice of life quite a bit, but I feel like the characters aren’t likeable for me at least to be able to sustain a sol pace

Well, it's a slow paced story like the ascendance of a bookworm so if you don't like those types and find it boring then drop it.

Yeah I wasnt a big fan of the protagonist va. I love a classical goku/luffy/naruto va. But I felt like a guy va would have been better for this role personally. So I felt very detached when he got older and he didn't seem to grow up really. But even then, I'm still liking the show. It has its flaws no doubt but as a weekly series, its been rewarding to watch weekly. I find binging a show like this can be off putting. Its rewarding when you stick around, I think I'm on episode 7 or 8,i knew I didn't like it at times but I genuinely look foward to it now and I don't know why 😂

I personally love how calm the show and story pacing is .... The anime has an action tag under its details so I have to agree that it lacks good action scenes ..but as a fantasy /isekai I like it

I thought I was the only one being a little off with the VA of the protagonist. Her voice is great but I just think it just does not really fit for Will in my opinion.

They already missed their chance to get good.
First arc was undoubtedly the best this title had to offer. And adaptation of it was poor.
So that's it for Faraway Paladin anime.
