| i think this episode needed a CRAP-TON more exposition! we left our 'scooby-gang' last week saving Miss Sun and her family from: stock manipulation, spiritual source spring-water draining on her ancestral lands, and her family's golden pill manufacturing corporation going bankrupt... now all of a sudden we're on a broadcast of 'China's Magic Swords Got Talent' broadcast...WTF? zero transition! but, still a fun episode anyways. because for a few seconds there... i think Miss Sun had a higher popularity rating than GOD himself! :> over 1 billion viewers and her BF Wang just shifted all that ultimate control a few meters to the side under Miss Sun's feet... and 'whammy!' if she'd said, "love me everybody!" whooo whee! instant world-wide religion! hahahah! fun! :> |

| Well, this is a nice, to have some kind of continuity from the previous episode. I can still see that character bullying our lovely Sun, Rong. Despicable! Outrageous! I also think it was rushed for some reason, maybe the total episodes were reduced unlike the first season. Let's just hope they can do better next episode. Now what about those zombies... | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

'Not Again!' and he sucker punched the demon back into 'hell' and shattered the mirror... so... i'd say even WITH the emotion dulling paper seal thingy on the back of his neck... he's probably LOGICALLY aware he cares for her... but his EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT isn't as high as it was in S1... as for her, i think she's still ooey gooey, hearts in her eyes, for him... the little sachet of incense or charm or whatever it was she was going to give him on the night that the mirror portal to 'hell' showed up and suchforth this season kinda made it obvious to me she's still really into him. i really REALLY do wish Funimation could get better FASTER at English subtitling Mandarin... i understand they've only been doing Mandarin since 'Heaven Official's Blessing' not even 1 year ago. but uuugh! it's hard to follow Funi's subs sometimes! and yes, the only eps of this season i'm seeing recently are pirated ones sourced from Funimation's streaming subscribers uploading files. |

The thing is, we really have yet to see any official confirmation between the two of them. Even if that one time they went on a date from the earlier episodes of season 1, it was simply due to the misunderstandings and one-sided infatuation of Sun, Rong for Wang Ling at the time. Only then at the end of the S1 that Wang, Ling realized the true importance of Sun, Rong's life to his life but even with those two events, Wang, Ling still used his powers to remove Sun, Rong's knowledge of him being stronger than a value of 5 and also the fact that at the end of S1, Sun, Rong's memories were wiped or non-existence since he traveled back in time just to get a life of her still being alive if you still remembered that tragedy. If you're having a hard time reading Funi's subs, there are other official alternatives there that subs won't suck. I watched it on Bili2x after all, but if this can't help you, there are still some officially licensed ones out there. P.S. This isn't a spoiler but Sun, Rong calls Wang, Ling "brother" up to this point. |

| The Spirit Sword Competition is the episode where the plot will kick in. The demons took over the control of the human lives. Seems like they're planning the invasion now. Going be pretty good from now on after a few normal episodes. |

| The relationship between Sun Rong and Wang Ling regressing was the worst part of this anime imo. Her calling him “Brother” ticks me off. |
| Demons really went from wanting to assassinate Sun Rong to now sabotaging a random sword fashion show? lmao Also, why is this blatant sabotage against Faction 60 not immediately obvious to anyone? It's one thing if it was just one person. For every single Faction 60 participant to have "technical difficulties" is obviously something going on...Also, why does no one care about Sun Rong stepping in during Xiaoyu's performance? lmao Also, I thought they arrested the Tang family in connection with the demon hat guy just last episode? How is it that he shows up next ep in front of Zhou like nobody's business? lol I understand the show has to create situations for our MC to save the day, but it's getting ridiculous to the point where without our MC, the humans are so incompetent that it is a huge puzzle why the demons haven't already taken control of the world decades ago, like it makes 0 sense. Also what is the point of switching the control over to Sun Rong if they end up attacking her anyway? |
