No "romance" gender tag, still, a good romance story?

I just watched Mahoutsukai no Yome, and now I wonder why there isn't "romance" tag at it's page on My Anime List.
I must confess that, maybe, if it has this tag gender, I would have watched it before!
After thinking about it a bit, I personally believe that the reason why this anime is not classified as romance because there isn't real... I mean, there isn't too much physical romance interactions, no more than a few gestures of affection. And as Ruth itself says once, sometimes the main couple seems more father and daughter or mother and son than a couple.
Don't misunderstand me, this anime is ok the way it is, but the way I see, it is not classified as romance anime trying to not promise what it will not deliver. There are a lot of romance animes that the main couple don't even date till the end of its episodes (and it is ok to be this way, sometimes), Mahoutsukai no Yome don't say to you that Chise and Elias will date, as it doesn't happen (and again, it is ok to be this way).
Tell me what do you think about it!
And if you guys could I would like to know more animes without romance gender tag, still, with a good and satisfying romance story!

Despite the title, Chise and Elias have more of a father and daughter relationship.
I don't think romance tag has a place here.

Just finished the show and there wasn't a second I thought them as romantic partners. More like father and daughter.
