Liuli is finally reunited with her childhood friend and long time crush, Chunfeng, but the encounter becomes painful when he is much to formal with her. Heartbroken and dazed, the princess wanders into HH and indirectly spills a bucket of water on herself. Jinxuan urges Liuli into her room and lends her her own dress to change into - all the while forgetting that others perceive Li Yao as a man, and thus, causing Liuli to misconstrue that he (she) is a cross dressing pervert. Jinxuan is then forced to partially disclose her secret to the princess.

Jing then walks in on the two embracing and forms the misconception that they are dating. Now, Jing is the one that is heartbroken - "I'd thought there were no secrets between us...turns out I'm not someone you can be open with". As he passionately declares that he'll never come to HH again, Chunyu sucker punches him.

Jinxuan finally asks Chunyu for his assistance in the kitchen for once and before he even has a chance to offer it himself. I'm glad their relationship is finally progressing after last week's minor development, although it's still progressing much too slow if you ask me. 😫

Jing picturing Yao as the object of his affection as he ate the noir candy though...I'm dead. Jing plans to tell Yao that he wants to take care of him (her) and Chunyu wishes to marry Jinxuan once he is able to restore her identity. Looks like you were right to perceive Jing as competition all along, Chunyu.
