With all the action of episodes past, the battery girls Rin and Yuki can finally take some rest..though they still have some qualms of bias with hobbies and being partners.

Hmm, Arahabaki attaining the True Army's propaganda "movie" for all to watch with Ukai's effort, and it explains how both Japans are wrought with Otakudom and ailing infrastructures. The True Army was adamant on making law and order, and fight to achieve complete rule to alleviate the 2 Japans as one from all the anime, video games and any Otakudom that are of a bad influence. Well now you know how the war came about between the True Army and Arahabaki. The one outlier being Hosomichi questioning about this entire fiasco, and he'd be careful if he were to indite any opposing words.

A short time for some fanservice and rest, and the girls talking about Hosomichi while Balzac has a worrying problem, also about Hosomichi and getting him back to his feet. Another short time off for the men doing shopping, and Balzac tells Hosomichi how Akihabara has faced its apocalypse, and that it hinges on the Battery Girls to survive, but that it also needs a pilot of passion in order to realize that dream. Without a pilot to pilot the Garanndoll, they'd be fighting a losing battle, and Balzac knows it best because he was a pilot before that failed to save Akihabara with a transmutation of passion that went amok to a wasteland.

Well, an unattended visitor that's hiding in a box, and it's the 3rd and final Battery Girl Misa Kuroki, a hacker, codename WerdCat, who loves curry bread and holes herself in a box. She definitely looks like Nekopara's Cacao, only slightly.

So Zaburn, Emperor of the Sea was actually an ONA? But all the episodes of it were lost due to True Japan's censorship, so all Rin has to recharge is the commercial :(

They show propaganda film from the other world. Notice the Kanji is written in the opposite direction (right to left), since timeline's diverged, the left-to-right direction never gained popularity. An interesting historical touch.

I wonder if the climax of this series would be Arahabaki entering the other world to spread Otaku culture to the citizens of the other Japan that never got to experience it...

Yakumo Kamizuru's Garann isn't super deformed, having similar proportions to the Zaburn, Emperor of the Sea statue. I hope we get to see it in action!

With Hosomichi's defeatist attitude, Balzac gives him a talk, revealing that he was the previous pilot of the Type Zero Garanndoll, the one responsible for the town being destroyed (which is now a lake). He wears the sunglasses to hide something and warns Hosomichi about transmutating the girl's passions. I think this is just his fancy way of describing having the battery girls fall in love with him (as we can see Hosomichi already building a harem of sorts).

From previous dialogue, I believe Mimi was once Balzac's battery girl, they fell in love and that kind of passion overloaded the Type Zero causing an explosion that wiped out the town, hence Balzac is cautioning its current pilot.

We are now introduced to the shut-in hacker battery girl.

Damn that whole thing about "if you change their passion from their hobby to love you'll make a big ass crater" is pretty heavy, wonder how Rin and Hosomichi will avoid the destructive power of transmutating or maybe even redirect it.

A surprisingly informative episode with some cool lore and neat fanservice. If Japan won for real in our timeline that would have gone pretty differently indeed.

We finally get the backstory/setting of the show and it actually is an interesting concept. I don't know why they waited until episode 6 to introduce it.

Other than that, the dynamic of the 2 girls interacting was nice. Wasn't sure how Rin and Yuki interacting would work, but it was fun to watch.

Lol at the end title that said 'Apocalypse revelations that no one asked for.' Don't worry, whoever you that write and thinking about that, at least you got me that care about that. Even though, yeah, i am not asking for that xd.

Ah, Rin-chan just a simple cuteness. Her expression always a bless, and her passion burned something inside me too. Yuki actually had a bit mature personality. Her clinging against Hosomichi bring more moodbooster to me, because its created some 'tension' among them three. Are you really that supportive?

Then, alright, Hosomichi being Hosomichi again with his cold and cruel attitude commenting True Army propaganda video, especially after receiving another 'treat' from the shark loan. Almost get shot by some loyalist of the culture, surprisingly, the three looked so worry about the situations. But, lucky, that Balzac successfully stop the anger.

Balzac revealed the true story behind the lake and Akihabara battle, that no one asked for, which its started by a certain immature pilot that led some battery girl passion transmutated. As dangerous as it may sounds, i think it can be a perfect weapon to destroy and making the True Army to surrender. But, considering the effect to the pilot, and many more cause after impact, Balzac suggest Hosomichi to not doin that, but also keep supporting him as a playboy chara. Poor Hosomichi, must be felt awry with that.

However, relax, enough with the wall of text which cause of a certain dumpinfo revelations. I truly am hoping, the hacker shut-in loli can give me more passion for the next episode, if you know what i mean.

Well we finally got the worldbuilding about what is going on and somehow nobody else knew what was going on either? Have they not been living there for a long time? Nevertheless, this anime has grown on me a good amount, although I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I’m a bit worried about where it is going from here.

We have 6 episodes left and it feels like we should be around episode 8 or 9 pacing-wise. Hopefully they have it all well planned out

Yup, we finally get to see why their home became so messy and why is it being ruled by the true army, but I didn't think they would use a parallel/inverse dimension as their plot.
While I do understand where the true army is coming from, that's not their world and they're sticking their nose where it doesn't belong. It is pretty much an invasion that's why we got some resistance in our story, and now they have more reason to defeat their enemies after finding our the truth and that's probably just one of the truth...?

I guess we finally get to have some fan service and our characters finally have some time to do some reflections and finally (the third time lol), we got to see the 3rd battery girl! While the opening song already gave her out, to think she really is a kid and a "hacker"... >.<
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

The poor Japanese unhappily being forced to consume those dammed anime, manga and idols. I'm glad the True Army frees it's citizens from such a miserable life.

New girl seems like she’ll be interesting. I wonder how Hosimichi is gonna connect with her. Also, I wonder if Mimi was the battery girl and if she like had her passion switched with the commander so he became a huge weeb and she kinda lost any interest in that? Just a wild theory.
