It seems only to me, that this show is very similar to Hollywood "buisness" comedies of the 80s like The Secret Of My Success? Of course, it could be the popular tropes of these movies, but when I watched this anime, especially the latest episodes, I was constantly visited by flashbacks with Michael J. Fox.

Mmm... I think it's odd that you're thinking tropes when if I try to think of a similar anime, I can't really think of one.
Maybe it's a generation thing. Michael j fox reminds me of Spin city if not his BTTF films... and that was in the 90s.
Also, can't imagine an American business sitcom displaying the benefits of unionization :P
