the anime hinted that Akari doesn't have yuri desires, she's even scared about it in her friends towards her, is my opinion.

I agree. In fact, that's part of the joke of Akari's character, she's supposed to be the protagonist but many times she's the one with the least screen time lol, even in the manga has a lot of funny moments about it.
