It might sound odd given the nature of the show, but I personally feel that dramatic-melodramatic moments do much more deepth for Jahy's attractiveness and charisma than her silly-narcissistic fails.

I mean, who didn't feel bad for her the moment she was preparing to die in the forest? Well, out of context, it was also incredibly grotesque, but nonetheless. Or when Landlady was saving her from being robbed by the Magic Girl? This show is a deliberately stupid sitcom comedy, but it seems to me that the dramatic moments are still very good.

Completely agreed, for all the bluster of status, Jahy-sama works incredibly hard after having had everything taken away from her. It’s amusing to see her punished for her shortcomings, but there’s something that clicks with her taking these problems so seriously and her heightened emotional response to all of her struggles.

It’s the reason why Kokkoro feels like the Sun’s warm rays lifting your soul.

Very true. Jahy's tragedy moments are the funniest. It seems Jahy's fate is to find happiness on Earth instead of to rebuild Hell and to become the second one in command again...

I like it when Jahy becomes more vulnerable and weak and let’s herself be protected. I think that’s becoming more frequent and I havn’t read any source material but I’d hope that as the show goes on she grows and gains an awareness of what she was like and how she can be vulnerable and have friends.

It’s terrible to say but what makes me laugh is how much life just continues to be her down.

Definitely agree with this, the comedy is decent, not groundbreaking, but the heartfelt moments and the contrast between her aspirations and her reality are very well executed. After the latest episode, the last statement the narrator said makes perfect sense.

What's so tragic about it? She's poor in Japan but still has a nice group of people supporting her, nothing tragic about it. Unless you mean her pride and stupidity are tragic, then I guess tha's true but then it makes her old life seem super lucky for someone so incompetent.
