| I'm pretty sure we'll get something close to THE GAME in terms of visual identity, which really strikes my fancy, but I'm sure it won't be a sequel or in the exact same universe as those who played and/or read the manga know that Anyway, I'm happy with what I've seen so far, I'm very fond of the IP as a whole but the OVA/Anime suffer a lot when it comes to story, hopefully, that won't repeat once again. As for the studio, there is this listing of a Marza employee that claims to have worked on a "Black Rock Shooter" feature film adaptation:  Take this with a grain of salt as there is nothing confirmed about who's making this. |

| Ordet went under after Yamakan went tits-up, and its core staff either got absorbed to Lidenfilms while a few went to Lapin Track. Given that USP held Ordet and technically had the rights to adapt it, it can possibly go to Liden, Trigger, or Sanzigen but then, we wouldn't know if that's still the case. or if Goodsmile chose to butter up with another studio to do it. I'm more interested about the staff and on where will this be based. If they can just follow the game's storyline it'd be better. |

| I'm hoping for a more complete story. I loved the first season, but it felt rushed and unfinished. Hopefully, the OST for this is going to be done by the same composer. |

| The poster doesn't exactly fit with any of the 6/7 established "canons" of the franchise (e.g, having the Black Trike but clearly not being in the Game's world), so I'm hoping for an entirely original storyline. |

| Good god please for all that is holy. Do not be a continuation of the anime TV series. Any other would be fine, even a reboot of that god forsaken drama-fest. Like...the game's story isnt even that amazing. It just is compared to the anime series. Just some really cool and interesting world building. Just give us something like that.. |

| I was hoping the character design wouldn't be on the same "childish" /"youthful" level as the TV series and more "mature" like the OVA. Nevertheless, I'm very excited to see what they do with the story. If they actually follow the story of the game that would be amazing. As for the studio, I have no idea who could and will adapt this. Definitely looking forward to this. |

Takes out the theory that this is an adaptation of the game, but I'm really not a fan of that redesign, without the giant hands she doesn't look right. Her hair clip thing reminds me a lot of Nana Grey, though. The Dead Master redesign is a little better, but the 2012 version still comes out on top. The new horns aren't bad though, and I do quite like the new body, though I'm a little torn on the hair and shoes. |

| It looks more like a prequel if anything. She doesn't have any battle scars and just look a lot younger. It might be something like an origin story of how she became Black Rock Shooter, expanding on the lore and everything. |

It's a completely new story, every story of BRS is completely different. Examples are the PSP BRS game, where her name is Stella and fights aliens, the 2012 anime, where the characters have alter-ego's representing them. And this, with it's post-apocalyptic setting, even the mobile game that was announced was stated to have it's own story. Also, since no one posted the official art of Strength yet, here: |

| at first i thought it was a sequel and i was like 'wtf happened?', then i realized it isnt a sequel so i will just think of it as a different anime. i also thought it was made by the same studio and i was like 'wtf is this art?" and then i realized it wasnt the same studio. so i will try to 0 compare it to the original so i can enjoy it more. if it something i complain about its that, on the entry it has only BRS, Dead Master and Strengh, even though Dead Master is my fav , i am still sad that Black Gold Saw, Chariot and w/e else arent in this |
