Most stuff in saikano isn't that clear and must be figured out first, but for this specifically I think the hints are enough. She knew she couldn't have shuji and didn't want to die in war alone, or maybe didn't want to die a virgin? And she couldn't let down Atsushi as I said. So yeah I think it's save to assume they slept with each other before Atsushi left to die in war :( |
