| If you have played the VN, literally everyone (Aside from Kozue) have a much better route, depth, scenes and overall execution. Sora’s route is not odd because of the incest part but rather because it felt forced. There’s a plethora of incest situations in manga or VN that are much more “justified” and “believable”, that’s why not a lot of people would call it a masterpiece. The Anime played Sora’s Arc almost completely while the rest barely got any proper development (Even though all had 4 Episodes, they were super rushed story wise) so it might be the reason why you liked it so much instead of the others. Also it’s a contradiction claiming that you don’t like the genre if you gave it a 10/10. |

Personally, it was by far my favorite, and no, im not into incest, the reason i loved it is because it ended up heavily portraying society's pressure, rejection and prejudice against people that arent "the norm" by its standards, and to me that was absolutely fascinating, and very thought provoking. Switch the incest aspect with literally anything else (immigrants that represent a minority, gay people, you name it) and youd still have a story with a meaningful takeaway, it was very well done. |
| The first two arcs were just plain boring, that not even the ecchi scenes can save it. The only two arcs that matter is the glasses-girl arc and the sister arc. And the glasses girl arc was boring in its own way as well, but it was saved because they have a history together, because of the ecchi scenes, and because the glasses girl has an AMAZING BODY. This anime would definitely had been one of my favorite romance anime EVER if we would have gotten a 10-episodes anime love-triangle with the male MC, the glasses chick, and the sister, with lots of ecchi scenes involved. |
