| i totally understand all of you, as a special chibi episode... it was kinda executed in a poor way basically, the plot seemed flat because this is essentially just an inside joke on bilibili (chinese youtube) it was about one of the top bilibili creators (like. a big youtuber) and a summer vlog he made with other bilibili creators, so in a quick way to sponsor link click.. san-ge (the guy with the glasses xiaoshi possessed) partnered with them to please more of the bilibili chinese audience because of the funding :] it wasn't supposed to be plot dramatic or kinda just like.. an actual side-story... it was just the vlog he made animated in a chibi style based on sorta like a variety-show style with link click somehow thrown in LMAO you can find the original vlog this episode was based off here: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1hp4y1W781 |

| I was also wondering if this was a reference to anything! Thanks for the clarification! It makes sense to say that the episode was odd, but here we obviously have to see that as a western/non Chinese viewers we really weren't the target audience at all so of course the episode wasn't as interesting. I'm still curious to see how they will continue this if they do release more episodes |
