It is watchable.It is not too bad nor too good,but watchable cause u won't get bored.A good anime acc to me.

Definitely not a generic isekai. More so political and kind of true to the name. Try it, def not the best thing ever, but its still fun to watch here and there

If you like dialogues, world building, politics then yes (MC doesn't get directly involved in fights, he's a king)

It's decent. If you have other shows on your watchlist, I'd probably start with another...but it's good enough to watch 7/10

Its worth watching depanding on what you like. is it a generic isekai? No since it focuses less on the fighting and more on world and the kingdom building. Its kinda like That Time I Got Reincarnated as A Slime but a lot less action and more on building the kingdom.

Not the generic Isekai. Not the generic MC. Goes very in depth with world building and politics. Kind of like Spice & Wolf. Kind of.
Among the NEW Isekai airing this season, this and Tsukimichi are the best.
Not a masterpiece but worth watching.
I recommend the LN’s more though.

why ppl keep says almost all of isekai mc looks like kirito (r these ppl blind or wwat?). they're clearly different lol, both from appearance and personally

its more similar to slime isekai, the main character becomes the king and so far it has been mostly about fantasy political affairs and world building

Don't watch if you are seeking action. Watch if you want an actual bureucracy anime.

It's not generic in that their isn't fighting, but characters and setting are super unoriginal. Story is also boring. Every single one of his "reforms" boil down to modern day person doing common sense things and people treat him like a once in a 1000 years genius. Seriously, he's not smart everyone else is just dumb. For example watching it right now and his big smart impressive idea was it'll take a long time to march, so we'll take a carriage. I'd give this a 5/10 at best. The score it has is way higher than it deserves.

No, the anime adaptation is disappointing.

I think you should read the LN/Manga instead, the story has more political issues, then it's not exactly generic, the manga have more tension and drama.

It's good but not great, lower your expectations and you will enjoy it. In my mind it's not as good as Spice and Wolf or Honzuki no Gekokujou. But it is better or as good as Maoyuu Maou Yuusha.
