The anime is based on the LN. Or, it could be that the LN is based on the anime original part. Though I am pretty sure it's the former.

Actually, I am not sure. It could only be the 6th quest.

But I think that's unlikely. As it could be based on the LN. Which deviates from the manga from the 6th quest and onwards.

I don't think they'll go an original route just to change a single quest.

I hope they pull the original off well, at least up to the same standards as the manga did.

No doubt it will be massively censored or modified to some extent.
Most likely they will go with Anime original because that Arc wouldn’t have enough episodes and would be rushed.
