| I was going to start watching the Rurouni Kenshin franchise and I was wondering if I should start here? Can anyone give me the correct watching order?? Let me know! |
| The recommended and intended watch order is the TV series (skipping fillers, and any episodes after ep 62), then this OVA, followed by picking up the manga from where the anime left off (which I think is about chap 151). Although as this OVA is a prequel you can technically watch it before hand, and some recommend that, but this arc takes place later in the manga and has a lot more impact in my opinion when watched afterwards, as such most recommend afterwards (unless you dislike the TV series, in which case just watch the movie, since the tones are very different) |

I'm never big on fillers and from what I've been able to read, the fillers aren't very good and distract from the main story. So thanks for giving me a good watch order and reading order. |
