Seems like it's been the longest running backstory of the group and there has been lots of times where it just didn't seem to be healing at all. I really like how his true character has come out these last couple of eps and now he's making steps to come clean to the group (and next ep seems he's gonna explain stuff). |

| I was recently thinking about how the CM break in s2e13 was exactly 40 seconds long and decided to look into this episode's elevator scene, as, thinking back on it, it seemed unrealistically long. Discounting the time spent stopped on Momo's floor, the elevator takes about 1 minute and 29 seconds to go down at most 8 floors to floor B2. Even assuming that the scene started right as the elevator began to accelerate, and keeping in mind that it had to accelerate and decelerate twice, that's a pretty slow elevator. Maybe my IRL elevator speed perception is off. I still like the scene though, and setting it in an elevator was a creative way for the adaptation to incorporate those mirror shots it loves so much. Though speaking of looking too much into things, I noticed how the elevator's floor numbers range from 7 to B2. The conversation just so happens to be about IDOLiSH7 (7 members) and Re:vale (2 members). Additionally, the numbers are arranged in such a way that 7 through B1 are grouped together in pairs while B2 is all alone. In that case, B2 represents both Yamato Nikaidou, aka the number two, and Momo, the replacement second member of Re:vale - both of whom have the lingering doubt that they don't belong. B2's also the only floor number that Yamato pressed. You could say he's pushing Momo's buttons :D |
