Worst harem ever?

I stopped watching this after 4 episodes because of exams. My exams are over now, so I'm gonna start watching this again. But after looking at the ratings and reviews, they are all negative. So can you tell me at what point the show changed to bad?

If it looks like I stand no chance I’ll run away and think up a new plan, but otherwise, I should see how strong it is with my own eyes, right?

Definitely. I hated eromanga sensei, It was the first anime that I absolutely despise as an anime fan. But this one takes the cake.

Amnesia, the power of friendship, generic tragic mc and his cringe harem.

Watching this makes my blood fucking boil I swear. I dropped this anime so many times just to re pick it up just because I dont want a dropped anime on my list. I feel like it was a waste of my investment.

I did not enjoy this anime one bit and anyone who rated this a 10/10 needs to wash their face and question their life.

Tbh this anime says and i quote "A rom-com where the childhood friend won't lose..." But literally every single girl in his harem is his childhood friend one way or another. Like WTF?

all the way through the show just feels like the story left a bit to be desired. It kind of feels like just a slice of life harem anime rather than a romance.

This isn't the worst Harem, there are plenty that is worse than this(I've watched them. Ex : Isekai Smartphone, Hajimete no Gal, Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai, and plenty more).

Sure there are some extremely low and cringe moments but overall it is still an okay harem.

As long as you can pass the cringe CM competition arc, it became decent again.

for me it was after the confession festival. I was already disappointed by the lack of any sorta revenge, which was all the plot synopsis talked about. But my best girl, Kuro, turned from nice big sister type providing a shoulder for Sueharu, to a back stabbing bitch. Rejecting your crush in front of a bunch of people (smiling the whole time), faking amnesia, and other stuff for literally no reason. Only to not be the harem winner cause of your stupid pride...Would rather rewatch Trinity Seven

It's in "It's so bad it's good" territory even more then RAG. RAG is actually good compared Osamake. Osa is not getting a season 2.

You can do a lot worse, but you can also do a lot better. It's not the worst show ever by any means but it doesn't deserve any more of your attention.

I actually thought the show was alright until the halfway point because sure it was cringey but it was amusing in seeing people act stupid. Then it got boring and people just kept talking and talking and talking and then the last few episodes.

Also they introduced a really annoying character too.

Predictable and boring to the very end.
Watching this is unbearable at points thanks to the constant cringe scenes.

Everyone seems to enjoy a hardy dose of piss on this anime at all times, and I really don’t get it. Personally, I really like it, enough that I’m rewatching it right now. It’s a good romance, don’t let the rating stop you.

Dem Tokyo Revengers fanboys really be score-bombing the ever living Manjirou out of Osamake's score, although Osamake is not the only casualty since Full Dive already took a beating. Truly a sad sight to see.

As for the worst harem, this is actually one of the better harems IMO.

Update: It seems like the Oddtaxi furries are the ones more responsible for the score drops of so many anime in Spring 2021.

Then you'll know why I consider this show as one of the worst harem shows ever.
and why I consider is show as much more worse than "Osamake".

In all honesty, the character designs aren't actually low quality. By low quality, the character designs would have to be utterly hideous to look at, and in all honesty, the character designs here look alright, not the best, but passable. In my definition of low-quality character designs, characters from works by Masaaki Yuasa (such as Tatami galaxy, Kaiba (no, not the Yu-Gi-Oh character), Ping Pong the Animation, etc.) and ONE (Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man (Saitama is the only one with awful character design, because the rest of the cast looks alright)) fit the bill.

Of course, this is a rom-com anime, so extreme animation isn't expected. But the animation and art quality are alright for the genre.

Tbh, just watch it. It's cringe comedy harem trash, but theres nothing wrong with that. Don't listen to the other people who don't understand the difference between a fanservice anime and one that has a good plot. Tldr: watch it, but wouldn't put anything else off to watch it

I watched this because i watched some promotional show with their seiyuu and damnn they all are pretty popular seiyuu if should say. And that's why i got interested in it and watching it. For the 3-4 first episode is still good i still rate it 7 that time but then from that point it just downhill and i got cringe time to time. And when i wrote this i just finished it. Worst? I don't think it's the worst harem it's pretty average tho. At least the female character of this show were pretty especially kuro. The animation helped it so much.

I myself just personally had trouble finding time to watch it and that was probably the same case with this show’s target demographic, I don’t typically see what’s “bad” about it I haven’t read any of the manga or the light novel whichever one came first for this series. And the title is essentially what people are watching for since the childhood friend always loses in these situations and they wanna see something different for a change and while I enjoy the show the protagonists folds almost instantly in every situation which again isn’t necessarily bad. He knows who he loves but he’s just not sure who he loves more of the two is basically how I can think of to put it, so kuro’s supposed to have been safe position being wavered basically by suehara’s dick and not knowing who he wants fully at least that’s what I think it was

People are so amazingly picky and hateful about many titles. As if some folks always focus on finding flaws (to later leave negative comments) while watching things. Like, not everything has to be masterpiece to be enjoyable! Yes, it's nothing special or new, but I don't think it was supposed to be either. If you only watch anime that are critically acclaimed and somehow revolutionary or very innovative, do yourself a favor and just skip most seasonal anime like this one altogether.

I wouldn't say its say it's the worst harem ever. I've watched a lot of them but I think Haru's personality is actually kinda unique. He takes a hint and isn't freaking dumb. Though he lacked any kind of motivation or goal and didn't give off a sense of purpose. They just made him a bit of a pervert towards the middle and that's it.

As for the 3 girls, they indeed don't feel like they were trying their hardest to get the guy. Shiro likes him so much but she waits for HIM to confess throughout the whole anime with no change of pace. Kuro just turns out as Tetsu says in the last episode: "A desperate high school girl" and Momo is sweet in her ambition and actions but is kinda lackluster.

All in all it needs more fanservice (since you're obviously going that way for the anime), more character development, and more compelling events that make them shine more.

Hmm I wouldn't call it the worst. It is an average anime with some big brain playes. The characters overcomplicate matters until it's unrecognisable. But if you can look at this from a more philosophical direction, you might like it.

People will hate me for this and I'm sorry but this is the worst harem I have ever watched... I think the author needs to learn how to create stories that doesn't involve any bitching around because the way it's potrayed in every character gives me a second hand embarrassement and this anime triggers me in my sleep. Also the better than nothing just watch kanojo mo kanojo instead, weird and stupid characters two timing with a male mc who's a blunt guy but the plot is a lot more entertaining and actually makes sense like they don't build any rivalry/jealousy but support to one another. So yeah Osananajimi is basically a description of: without having a good plot and good character, definitely there's nothing that's going to come with a good outcome
