how about the extended scene of the final episode? it was promise there will be an extended scene right?

So the raw Blu-ray version was just uploaded onto THAT anime torrenting site on June 29th, and the person who released the only subbed release to come afterwards so far underestimated the importance of the extra scenes. He thought there was only 1 scene so he didn't include it in his release. He mentions it in the comments and is then quickly corrected by someone who had seen the raws. And to be fair, the extra scenes would have to be fansubbed since Funimation hasn't released it themselves yet and I don't think the uploader had the capability to sub it even if he did initially realize their significance.

All that to say that the "extended scene" isn't out there subbed. And actually it isn't just 1 extra scene in the Episode, the extra runtime comes from a few scenes spread throughout the episode. And for when to expect it subbed, it has only roughly been 2 days 20 hours since the raw files were made available, so it is still possible fansubbers may put out a release in the coming days.

It is definitely more likely that it'll be fansubbed before we get official subs via the home release since the EN Blu-ray's earliest date at this point would be October. Earliest being October because Funimation just announced their September releases at the midway point of last month and Akudama Drive wasn't one of them. Crossing my fingers that they'll announce it for October when they do their October home release announcements in the middle of July. And if not, there is still November and December; there is no way it doesn't release this year.
