You see, I watched the special and...it wasn't the conclusion of the series as they promised. It literally has some kinda of teaser for a 2nd season when Ai-chan say "Ai Ohto is back" and with all that Neiru thing...
I'm not saying that I hated...but this was only a season finale, not a conclusion. And I hope they make a 2nd for the real conclusion, I'm liking where the story is going with Frill and I miss the colorful battles.
I think I'm not the only one who thinks like that...

At this point, I feel like the only thing redeeming this series (and this special) is a second season. It nails some anticipatory elements of gearing up for a second season in its execution, so much so that I'm hesitating to believe there won't be one, but this special has very little going for it otherwise...

When I heard the special was going to be 40 minutes I was happy because I knew they couldnt wrap up every plotline in just one episode. But then half of it was recap and the other half was just new stuff. I think (maybe) they knew they needed a season 2 to tell the whole story so they "doubled down" I guess and just added a new plotline that might be explored along with every other unresolved thing later on.

what happened to the thread titled like "heeeheee ahahaaa nononono" or something, i was gonna read it for the funny title but i wanted to watch the special first and now it's gone

edit: apparently i don't know how mal discussions work, i guess it was someone else's thread but it showed the latest replier. anyway it's deleted so rip.

I missed the actions. I thought they were actually going to battle frill and kinda defeat her and stuff. But I think it's 6/5 not the best one. But left many things behind without explaining in details imo. The conclusion wasn't rlly the type i'd be expecting
