I just realized what the ending scene mean and it's just an Easter egg, I hate myself. The reference is to the remastered version of episode 10 (the so called episode 16). The plot didn't change until 10-11 mins. of the anime. There if you notice, Wang Ling has different eye colour which is green, it means that it's not the original Wang Ling but it's the one from 14 where he keeps repeating the world to save the heroine. After defeating the old driver, green eye Wang Ling gives the credit to the hero, and before going back to the future, green eye Wang Ling said something to his sword, "Don't worry, the competition is already over." Then proceeds to go back to the future to see the results. And the Original Wang Ling (Red eye) gets control over his body again, but doesen't remember anything, thus the reason on why most of the plot didn't changed.

Basically, its just an Easter egg. And hey also the Netflix version features the remastered version of episode 10.

(Warning! Very bad English) Sorry for the late reply. The Easter egg is from the remastered version of ep 10. Fast forward to the scene where the protagonist smirked to the old man, if you notice the protagonist eye is green, symbolising that the protag we have now is different, he's the one who came from the future to save the heroine. The scene after credits is the same from the remastered ep 10. I think the director just wants us to realize that. I mean, I didn't realized it until I saw the theories.

TL;DR: The scene after the credits is taken from the remastered version of ep 10

I watched ep.10 on Netflix and it made no sense that time.

Different eyes, the old driver was beating the girl....and then things got reseted from nowhere.

I assumed that was just a power of him, but so weird it was not explained.

So they made an ep. 16 to explain that?

@Rob7 I only found out after watching S1, but it seems in CR at least (and I think Netflix too based on what you watched), they fucked up! They put the "remastered" ep16 as ep10, but in reality, you should not be watching that before you've seen ep15! The original ep10 resolves the battle in a different way and has additional scenes not in ep16 (the backstory between the old driver and the shadow faction leader girl). That's why if you watched from those sources and thought ep10 was confusing/didn't make sense/was just random time shenanegans with unexplained green eyes, that wasn't supposed to be the case!

"Ep16" is actually a direct result of the change our MC does at the end/epilogue of ep15 (yes, the end of S1!). You'll understand why when you get to that point, but watching this ep16 as ep10 actually ended up spoiling the cool trick they did.

To add to the confusion, CR cut off the end part of the epilogue in ep15 which contains the change he does to ep10. Originally, ep15 epilogue shows the changes he did (the time rewind + green eyes scene). This means that you saw the changes to ep10 in the original ep15 epilogue. Ep16 is completely optional and is not a "remaster" of ep10, but is rather a "new" ep10 after the events of ep15. Hence ep16 is exactly the same as ep10 except for the little change starting from the time rewind, the green eyes scene, and the resolution of the fight with the old driver was completely different than the original. The scenes before and after this are the same.

I was able to find the original Ep10 (not in CR) in YT, you can see yourself the difference starting from this scene in 13:10 where it cuts to a backstory where the Ep16 does not. Please note that some scenes are the same, but the resolution of the fight is different so you should watch up to around 20:00 min mark to get the entirety of what you missed in ep10:

As you can see, the original ep10 did not have anything "confusing" or unexplained and instead has some scenes that are not in ep16. Also, I disagree with OP that it is "just an easter egg". This change is actually quite meaningful if you understood why he decided to go this far back at the end of ep15 to begin with and it's unfortunate that most people watching this will not get to experience it the way it was meant to be due to how CR fucked it up.
