| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was a pretty cliched first episode. Girl is told she has hidden power. Girl does not want to believe. Girl is forced to use it to save her friends. I know I'm not in the show's target group, but I don't see how this can appeal to many people. I'll watch it next week just to see the OP since we didn't get one this time. Hopefully it's better than the ED as I wasn't really feeling that at all. |

| LOL, it was very cliche, but it's kind of what you should expect from a series like Angelique XD Each season seems to have the same plot. However, I will say that the guys this season are much hotter than in previous Angelique series :D No flaming Koyasu character though, which saddens me. I like how these guys can't seem to afford enough fabric to cover their midriffs ^____^ And how her position of power apparently requires her to wear a loligoth dress :D |

| Even if it was not the best shoujo of this season, I liked it, because I am a big fan of the game. And it was so cliched, even more than in the game, that I couldn't stop laughing. XD |

| The cat has a voice? I didn't noticed then I guess xD Okay, it's not a very good anime with a cliché story and all, but at least it has bishounen in it! =D I'll be watching the next episodes, even if it isn't that good. Reminds me of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de... |

| I thought this was better then the last Angelique I saw (might be cause there's action)? So I don't mind it as much. And the bishounen look a lot better. I wonder why Angelique has to wear a goth loli dress as part of her duties. |

It's true that the storyline might not be very original, but I kinda like the ''classic'' thing, girl gets told that she has powers, she doesn't believe, she has to use them to have her friends, blablabla... ;3 But I thought it was pretty good for a first episode. | Even though this show has action in it, even the action is "girly". The first episode is the very definition of average. With so many other anime to watch this season, I have already dropped this show, as I can already tell that the direction this show is going is not my style. I can see the shoujo fans enjoying this. |

| Doesn't seems exceptional... Like many are saying, it is very common concept, but just about all anime is at least somewhat cliched...This was only episode 1, so there could be potential, therefore I'll try at least another episode or two. |

| the cat's voice, xD. all i thought when i saw this was 'wow; prétear, much'. even though it's clichéd and cringeworthy and all of that, i'll probably see it until the end. just for the hot guys, and because it's actually enjoyable as a casual watch. as was prétear. |

| "You're defective." I really liked that. I didn't expect to enjoy this episode as much as I did! I'm usually extremely picky but I guess because this was quick-paced, I enjoyed it? I'm surprised it got such awful reviews. I'm also surprised myanimelist.net doesn't have it listed as a harem anime, which is what I assumed it would be. And I like the redhead. |

| cliche doesn't always mean bad, it depends on the series and how they fit the cliche in. And for an Angelique series, it flows well. |
