Do i have to watch the other seasons?

Hiya! I’ve been trying to get into love live, and of course watched season 1 of school idol project. since then i’ve not watched any more due to a busy schedule but of course it’s part of the plan. However, as soon as i saw Rina’s design and read about her I wanted to watch this season more than anything. i know it’s probably better to watch School idol and Sunshine first but is it like compulsory? i just want to watch this season so bad lol

It is a spin off, so the other groups aren’t really mentioned. So, no you don’t have to watch SIP and Sunshine before Nijigasaki, but you should watch SIP before sunshine

They are unrelated to nijigasaki but I suggest watching in airing order if you have the time to

Thanks! i’ve been impatient to start this one, so i think i’ll watch it first so that i can properly enjoy the rest without trying to rush it lol

No not at all. For Sunshine I suggest watching the original first, but Nijigasaki is standalone.

You don't have to watch the others. But SIP is way better and so far I like superstar more too.
