Possibility of a Season 2??

Im kinda underwhelmed of the last episode and i felt like there are more into it. Since i havent read the manga/ln of this anime, will there be a possibility of season 2?

They've adapted Volumes 1-4 for Episodes 1-12.

The LN in ongoing but Volume 7 was only released recently so maybe not enough material at this point, maybe enough once Volume 8 is out - Spring/Summer 2022?

The light novel is further but based on the manga material, there are not much material. So maybe season 2 will not be anytime soon. I think

Well that’s a shame, I quite enjoyed it. But then I’m pretty new to it all and haven’t found anything I don’t like yet so maybe I’m just easily entertained

I have mixed feelings about a second season. On one hand, it was a "feel-good" story. On the other hand, it seems like the meat of the plot involves "expeditions" in the forest and Sei saving the day by wiping out the miasma with her conjury magic (and also performing miraculous healing on the side).

Though it seems like some loose ends do need to be tied, though. (For example, the home-sick Aira needs to go home...)

I just hope that this anime gave the manga/LN more viewership now and we get an official LN translation, or faster fan translations.

I hope not, we already have "Ascendance of a Bookworm" which is superior and "Akagami no Shirayuki-hime" which is inferior despite its two seasons. So how about we look forward to "My Next Life as a Villainess s2" in stead and a possible adaptation of "Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami".

I welcome a second season. It is a nice change of pace to what I am used to and the soundtrack was pretty on-point.

I really hope this gets a 2nd season even if it means a bit of a wait for enough material to be published. This series was fun and relaxing for me and the music was superb.

She never really seemed homesick to me, just lonely due to circumstances. She'll likely be okay moving forward.
