DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- AAAAAAAAAAaaa a a a a i missed the cast in anime form so much;;; this episode did not disappoint!! I didn't expect for Ryo to speak in my ear at that one part, it gave me the chills. This was such a good introduction for what's to come!! |

| They did justice to Ryo, wow. I really wanted to see my best worst boy animated. I've always thought it's funny how Haruka knows everything about Tenn, even where he lives. He should start a detective agency or something. |

| Oh Gosh, the first episode was better than expected. They managed to give us all the hints for the angst of this arc... Freakin' love it. And Ryo-san is as creepy as I expected him to be (animated). Special mention: Minami my boy you look stunning. Can't wait for July, 4th! |
| Got around to rewatching the episode. The Re:vale car ad came out of nowhere lol, it almost felt like a real commercial break. It's also a cool detail, how i7's concert crowd is noticeably louder than Re:vale's studio audience. I didn't realize how much I missed Yoshimi, seeing her get so fired up over ticket buying was really cute. We also finally got a character design for Hanamaki Sumire. Troyca really knocked it out of the park, she looks so graceful and delicate! Ngl I laughed when I saw Gaku's dejected face. Poor guy can never catch a break. The new(?) bgm during that scene was also pretty good, looking forward to when this season's soundtrack is released. It hurts seeing Sougo shut himself off and put distance between himself and Ryuu through polite speech. You can tell Ryuu's "A parent could never hate their own child" line really affected him, but he doesn't know how to express it and just holes up inside himself... >_> Even though I already knew that moment with Ryo, I didn't expect his voice to be so loud lol. It's kind of weird but understandable that even though he's talking into Momo's left ear, the audio comes from the right to match the visuals. The animators really pulled through when it came to animating Ryo and Momo, I hope they manage to keep it up throughout the season. I wish they kept in Tenn saying he'd call the police on Haruka lol, it's such a funny line considering Haruka's outfit. Like are you sure he hasn't already broken out of prison once before? lmao edit: I wasn't expecting the prescreening ep's ED to be the instrumental version of the actual ED lol. The animation is such a step up from Heavenly Visitor. That hand shot :O |
