This show feels like the author wanted to tell Shun’s story about his classmates but it wasn’t interesting enough so he made it about Kumoko and added just enough to make it good.
I don’t understand why a show about the main character is mostly about its secondary protagonists fighting the tritagonist as the plot assuming Ariel is second most important character? I digress. I’m just honestly so tired of the human part of this show, they’re not that cool, not that powerful and the show is “so I’m a spider, so what?” Not “so I’m a human and boring, so what?” The weeks where it’s just an entire episode devoted to them I’m so disappointed, it happens more often than full episodes just about her.

kidnapped and sold into prison, essentially. that's those kids' lives. but why? are reincarnates more powerful than regular people?

makes sense why sophia doesn't like elf teacher

for the third f***ing time spider girl has teleported back to the labyrinth into an obvious trap. this is beyond stupid at this point

pretty cool that the brains ate and absorbed all that power. i'd imagine they were the ones who were able to open the portal back to spider girl. so i'd imagine the other brain could do the same with the demon lord eventually...

and there are multiple ancient divine beasts, interesting

Yes, they are. There is an in-universe reason for this, which won't be explained until much later though.

She's become very prideful due to her Ruler of Pride title and is quite an airhead generally.

There is no 'portal' that can be opened though. Mother and Kumoko had a soul/mind connection thanks to Mother's Kin Control skill. Ariel has the same connection with Mother but not with Kumoko.

The Earth Dragon in the end says that Ariel is the oldest of the Ancient Divine Beasts.

This anime has ruined kumoko's side of story a lot..There are even people who think human side of story is better...Like WTF...The manga was linear and has better emphasis on stats and it was easy to understand how she outsmarts her opponents...In the anime its mostly chaotic and maybe confusing for those who are anime only...They should have aired both stories separately ,instead of this confusing mash up

human part and spider part are connecting each other. It's not about better or worse part. Both parts are important. Manga just a downgrade. I was reading the Manga and got bored of that, but when i see the anime, i realize the different and try to read LN/WN if i confuse about different timeliness. After that i know that, LN/WN is really good and i glad anime is still using that main source even CGI is bad at 2nd cour of anime.

I still think the teacher is trustworthy but she's definitely keeping way too many secrets. I hope there is an actual reason for this.

The MC suddenly fighting mother was a good lesson for her but it also felt a little out of place. I don't understand why none of the other spider monsters left wasn't guarding her...

The conversation with Ariel and the dragon seemed interesting. Too bad for the dragon that Ariel is so broken with her stats.

Living a captured life since perhaps the age of being a kid or even an infant must be incredibly boring so I can see why most of the reincarnated students blame the elves and sensei for it.

It's Amazing, also i think it's very underappreciated i mean i suppose people don't think that i would be great cause of the whole spider thing BUT YOUR WRONG its one of my favourite anime out there and I'm really begging for a season 2 which i don't often feel that way when there hasn't been any response on one but for this one im literally going to lose it if they say there's no season 2.
