tbh, this show is worse. it's really boring, if it wasn't for the great visuals, I wouldn't have watched this to the end

Oh the characters do get together but the thing is, it's either shown in the LNs, or used as a Cameo in other Makoto movies or other series as background characters etc.

One of the anime movies ever! It had characters and a plot in a dramatic story!

I'm not a big Shinkai fan, and tbh that is because the first one I watched from him was your name, which in my own opinion was really bad, I know he has pretty good works such as Weathering with you (your name revised to be good but now with rain) or 5cm per second which was great, but this movie falls flat the same way or worse than Your Name did for me, pretty colors, amazing visuals but that's about it, i felt nothing, didn't connect with the characters, it's not the same problem of Your Name but rather that this movie feels like it goes nowhere in a bad way, I don't understand what it is exactly.

Maybe having watched Colorful 3 days ago had something to do with this one fall flat for me.

What I heard of this movie I was kinda disappointed, ending was a letdown. Wanted little more of an conclusion.

wow this Film is great. I always love a good anime, that is somehow realistic and cut of happend in real life. In the end it shows us that not everything has a happy ending. But you should treasure the moments you hat with this person on this place. The things you lernt will hopefully lead to a great future where maybe you can meet each other again. This movie shows us that love can come in so many ways ( sometimes it's like a strong friendship wher you can't forget the other person and had the happiest time when you were next to them just talking...)
