Agree! I normally shy away from cgi anime bc I dislike the art style, but from what I saw in the previews this is actually pretty good!

I was a fan of the 3D Ghost in the Shell series, but this looks a bit robotic to me.

I like how they used it fttb, watching a 3D animated series has an interesting impact.
as long as CGI animation remains a minority, it’ll be no problem, just something a bit different from the standard, but it’s obviously nothing like og 2D, although the latter costs more than 3D.

The expressionless faces on top of the sexual tension makes it 10x worse. Character movement is the only “good” thing about this; it’s smooth enough that you don’t notice it but it makes all the bad shit stand out to the point it’s distracting. Oh yea and there’s like no character movement so it’s only the bad shit

Pretty comparable with the CG that Kyoto did with Haruhi-chan then scrapped it halfway through. Best thing that came out of that was Haruhi hitting the camera.

I felt like the CGI was a bit jarring at first, but I kind of settled into it by the end. I'll probably go through the same thing next week, but hopefully for less time.

They've come a long way with CGI, but like most here I still prefer the usual style. However, if it was between this and nothing I'll take this in a heartbeat.
