| Whew, American Psycho, heard good things, was not disappointed! Made me a laugh a ton and has really great quotes, lovely fanbase from what I've seen too. Bale performed amazingly as Patrick Bateman, looking fine n' fresh, subtle mannerisms, nuanced touches to his dialogue and other interactions, spectacular overall. Not as gory as I expected, but it was no fault whatsoever as the horror aspect didn't come from there. Black humor prevalent throughout, fun satire of 80s yuppie culture and materialism, with a somewhat ambiguous ending. I recommend to all who can withstand minor gore! |
