For the longest time this series has been my favorite, not in terms of LN but in terms of manga as I dont read the LN.
After screaming for an hour I decided to look at the animation studio, and it doesnt look promising, What are your expectations for the anime?

Another question worthy of noting is do you think the anime will flop? do you hope it will?
for anyone who isnt aware about the series I recommend the read even with the anime coming out and for those who choose not to, I pray your time with the adaptation will be great!

In terms of the studio and directors, it really isn't exactly promising though the author did state on twitter that they took lot of supervision work and wrote manuscripts for the anime. I just hope the adaptation goes well.

Hopefully it goes well.

The studio's animation is not bad, but the anime they have made so far aren't that good in terms of plot.

Hopefully, this one changes that.

Yeah usually they tend to be either rushed or drastically changed like the promised neverland, but I think other studios learned for clover works mistake
Wasn't it the author of TPN that made the changes in the anime's plot.

This is from CBR

"The Promised Neverland Season 2, Episode 10 has three credited directors (Ayako Kurata, Ryō Kodama and Shigeru Fukase) but no credited screenwriter. Toshiya Ono, who wrote the first four episodes of the season, is still credited with the overall "series composition" but not as the individual episode's writer. Nanao, the writer of Episodes 5-9 this season as well as the manga's light novel adaptation, isn't credited either. Perhaps most damningly of all, the "series composition" credit for original manga creator Kaiu Shirai is gone as of this episode."

So I thought other people also had a say in the way the story should go other than the author
Yikes. That sucks.

I just thought it was the author the whole time considering CloverWorks wouldn't want to fuck over their greatest hit anime. So it had to have been the author who threw CW under the bus so that his manga looks better in comparison.

But that just sucks to read. Even though I didn't find the manga very good, S2 was just awful.
Good to know, man. Thanks.

Why has the subject derailed to TPN2? Aren't they different studio, directors and authors?

Classic discourse lmao. You know, the usual.
Yes, nothing in common afaik.

I was more so trying to point out that the author interfering is not always good, although that isn't exactly the case with TPN(?)

But hopefully this wouldn't be bad. Sometimes just one anime is enough to boost a whole studio's performance.
I mentioned it on the other Paladin thread, but Yuru Camp is C-Station's only 8+ rated anime.
So there are chances that CPE will make this their best adaptation yet. Fingers crossed.
Especially since the source material is such a good LN.

I always find it reassuring when the author is apart of the anime project. Honestly I really do hope you're right about CPE, it's their current biggest chance to make a name for their selves.

I read the manga in July and was just recently thinking - wouldn't it be cool if the first arcs got a nice little anime film?? And then I see this. Wth?? Anyways I'm super excited.

I absolutely love the manga, it's one of my favourite. As for anime my expectations are low. so far teaser looks low budget and seiyuu cast is disappointing, William voice doesn't fit him at all, I imagined Mary to have calm voice like Endou Aya, and Menel tsundere shounen voice, I can't imagine Murase voicing him. But well, still will give it a try.

I really like LN. the 1st volume highlights the character's formative years. The 2nd volume is when the story truly begins.
I like dub more than sub because I am not a weeb.

I've read the manga. It was pretty good but yeah, I need to cross my fingers on this and keep my expectations low. I really hope it's a good anime adaptation but yeah...

Honestly, this is one of those IPs I expected White Fox or A-1 to pickup. Who knows, this might just be what this no-name studio needs to get their name out there and grab some better sources to adapt... but yeah, keep your expectations low.

The Daughter person looks the exact same as the Fire Keeper from DS3. The Wizard dude is Big Hat Logan. Skeleton dude is from The Catacombs. Dark Souls anime confirmed?

Hopefully, the story telling would hold up because looking at the pv, there's a lot of speed lines and panning shots with unmemorable music.

I am really hyped for this, one of my fav isekai but I'd keep my expectations low because of the studio that's animating it.

I feel my blood boiling. Not from excitement.
But from fear that they are gonna screw this up.
And badly at that when I saw the studio and directors.

For example, Meneldor. Will's background story.
And those three....please, I beg of you, don't mess
this up or at least hand it over to a different studio
if you're not confident enough. :(

Studio and Light Novel adaptation aren't good signs but I want to believe this can turn out good somehow. Will wait and see.

I checked out the PV and I quite liked what it was presented. Not a LN reader, it's my first time stumbling upon this title; and I see that its original source is highly rated here which means it's pretty well liked. But, looking into the stuff working on the anime, makes me feel anxious whether they might ruin this because it really looks like something very fun&promising.

To be honest I cannot wait for the anime to reach the manga point and for the manga to get to the next step in story I am expecting. After watching many isekai animes I'm so happy to see a different kind, Yet similar to the one of a great author(you will understand who I am talking about when we'll pass through chapter 34 in the anime).

Anime appears to be doing well and although I've seen nothing stellar animation wise it is at least competent.

My love for the series didnt drop in the slightest but I am a bit dissapointed with the anime, purely because it feels rushed even if it isnt, im still enjoying every second of it and would recommend it to anyone who is interested

Finished the anime and as a novel reader, all I have to say is "that was underwhelming & terrible".
