I think the shoujo tag may be more appropriate. What do you think?

AMB manga runs in Monthly Comic Garden which is a shounen manga, nothing else about it. Demographic tags are always based on the magazine the manga runs in rather than the content itself.

I agree that it's definitely more shoujo-esque. But like stated above, it's the magazine and not content. It's why something like Kaguya-sama Love Is War is classified Seinen.

The thing that I understand about this topic is that shounen, shoujo, sheinen isn't anything about gerne is the main demographic. For example shounen shows or manga is targeted for young boys/teens, not that other people can't read it because it's for young boys. It's just that their demographic are most of the time teens/young boys. You can say that for shoujo and that is targeted for young girls/teens, Sheinen is targeted for older men and Jousei for older women.
For the record, I'm not a professor at this topic but that is what I heard from the people that I know.

I certainly agree, it bored me to death and I'm the type that watches pretty much any genre so I don't think my shounen simps be bout this

It's true, but I don't get your point. Discussing the main target audience of a show has the same value as discussing its genres

Shoujo, Shounen, Seinen, etc is not a genre it’s a demographic and it’s entitled by the Magazine/Publisher.
Don’t think too deeply about it.
There’s a lot of series that have Adult-oriented themes (Violence/Gore/Sexual/Controversial) not for kids, published in a magazine not suited for their content.
This is basically the same.
