Haven't watched this. Just curious why this is rated so low despite being a fresh Anime?

Don't be fooled, the score is actually way too high considering how awful Gibiate actually is. Probably the only anime that could rival last season's monstrosity that was Ex-Arm.

But the main reason as to way people hate Gibiate, is because of the CGI.

Trust me I tried watching the first episode. When it aired and it's just awful.With the combination of awful sound design, boring plot and CGI it's just not something worth watching.

I watched quite a few episodes, poor animation, crap cgi, boring characters, terrible storytelling.

You can tell who's getting killed next as its so unsubtle how it's setup.

It’s just bad. So bad. Literally everything about it. The story is boring and there’s no build up nor atmosphere. The animation is horrible. They try 3D and oh god is it atrocious. The characters have nothing interesting about them and the entire narrative is slow.

I wonder why the rating is low as well. I actually enjoy watching it. I finished the whole season.

I only watched the first episode, and I think the artstyle looked good. The CGI I didn't mind, the animation was lacking, but the main problem was the storytelling. It was terrible.

I swear if I searched Wattpad for time travelling stories I would find a dozen better than this.
