| just finished the anime and i'd love to head over to the light novels. LN readers - what chapter/volume did the anime leave off on? and did the anime leave anything out from earlier chapters that i should go back and read first? |

frozen_lights said: The order of the files (or chapters) were mixed around in the anime. Volume 1 has been fully adapted, volume 2 had 3/4 files adapted, and volume 3 had 1/3 files adapted. I would highly recommend you start from the beginning to get Sorawo's full perspective and thoughts about what has happened so far. Plus, some files hit different while reading it. huh, okay! in that case i think i'll read from the beginning. i know that i say the same thing when i recommend the adachi and shimamura LNs; the anime adaptation does cover most of the story beats up to a certain point but you still have to read from the beginning to really understand the psychology of the characters and the complexity of their feelings. if it's the same case with otherside picnic then i don't mind starting fresh. thank you! |
