| didnt like so much that the justification was "dysphoria" cuz we trans people do not always have that condition and its a discourse that many times invalidates our "non-normative" bodies. BUT i understand it works in this fiction that gave a lot of positive portraits and its an example for the super closed mind of Mogu's dad. what i liked the most about Tetsu's story about her sister is that ends up saying he's happy cuz a member of his family can live her life with a smile, that part was touching for me. and Mogu's mom meeting a transman to learn more and reading lgtb books was lovely. the father's final reaction has not been seen but with the memory of bb Mogu a bit of compression is suggested. i don't know if am really interested in the drama spreading, but i find it a bit "quick" that he gets it right when previously was so tough and uncompromising. anyway, it was a breaking point, cuz Mogu was very consistent and has her boyfriend, her friends and now her mother supporting her. |
