Great ending and overall a very nice short epilogue to one of my all-time favourite mangas. At first I didn't expect much but this was nice, refreshing, and very nostalgic. 8/10 final score.

Very good little 2-volume sequel manga. It wasn't necessary since the story was great where it left off, but gave even more of a satisfying amount of closure given how Arisu and Usagi now have a kid together, living happy together while he became a psychologist and we even got some solid characterization and action when it came to the game itself for this RETRY portion exclusively. This was way better than I expected, and I thoroughly enjoyed what Haro Aso provided here. 7/10 for this RETRY manga, and I'm glad the Netflix adaptation is a thing even more now for the existence of this manga since this was made with the hype of that adaptation being a thing.

Good epilogue, I expected to see someting from yaba and that death row inmate since they stayed as citizens. A bit dissapointed I didn't see any of that

This was a nice epilogue to the story. Really glad to see grown up Arisu and Yuzuha. They are married and she just gave birth to their daughter. Man I teared up when the baby was born. They went through a lot and deserves this happiness.

So the chances of this getting an anime that covers everything is pretty low, right?

I haven't read the manga but I was planning to do so, the live-action series on Netflix was pretty good and I'm wondering as to how accurate it was to the manga.

If you haven't read the manga then what are you doing in sequel's discussion?...
It's not an attack, just a question. There are a lot of spoilers.

As to your questions... Netflix adaptation is fine though I didn't like few changes they've made (like making MC participate in games he DIDN'T participate in manga) but overall... it's okay. I like the actors and games.

I would like to get full anime adaptation with 36 episodes or so one day. Of course, done by a proper team and studio. We'll see, live-action is well received and pretty popular, even manga has been picked up by VIZ.

Nah, I got you. I kinda know the whole story already as I was impatient but I do fully intend to read the manga, just lack of time to be honest.

this felt pretty like a useless sequel. keep in mind the moment i saw arisu go back into the borderlands, i just skipped to the final chapter cuz i didnt wanna deal with this shit again haha. i wish this was only 2-3 chapters of their new life living in the real world with them, slice of life like. going back to the borderlands just felt like a hassle. if this epilogue was shorter and them just them living their new life, it def would have been better closure.

Pretty much the same... I was like "he's either in no danger or WTF are you thinking author!" just skipped to the ending of this.. Happy it wasn't ruined!

This must be non-cannon. It just doesn't make sense, because previously all cards had to be collected.

I think it's because the damage isn't as severe as getting a meteorite falling onto their heads so they only have to clear one hard game idk doe.

In both cases, participants weren't equally affected by the event. In the main series, nobody got out early.

Yeah I do agree it's inconsistent, thought it was nice just to end it in the main series.

Have you seen the TV series? They might do a season 3 judging by the different ending from the manga. Hope they don't butcher it though.

Ya i saw it, ending was dubious making it seem like it was still a game and the card is the joker card lol, yeah they could make a S3 but if they did they'll probably butcher it lol.

This game isn't anywhere near as good as those of the main series.

I saw a comment on the manga site I was reading this, about how this game is basically a re-do of the Wolf and Sheep game he survived in the original. Much like that one, this game also involved the assumption that there would only be one survivor in the end, except this one has a slightly happier ending. Although, I'm not sure if the game he played in the original ever had an option where more than one of them could have survived.

Still, I'm glad it ended well and its nice to see Arisu living a fulfilled life after everything.

I am sad again the nurse deserved better.
I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something.

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English.
