Well, at first I thought It Was interesting prologue In general, those are not words that should be heard when boarding a commercial airplane flying as high as 10,000 meters above sea level. This is an interesting start, the initial prologue should be preceded by character introductions but this actually begins with a conflict on the plane, I like this. Among the many passengers, a girl claims to be a detective and heads to the steward who asks about it. And yah, that girl has a silver hair, big oppai, and using military uniform. Like a reincarnated Goddess, that girl was very beautiful. It's just that when the MC asked about his name, the girl only answered with a codename, That's right, her codename is Siesta. The detective planning MC's death and joking about computer history, damn that was so awesome joke, xD. Kimizuka Kimihiko, a boy who is MC in this LN, is 18 years old and wants an oppai lol. Chapter 1 Hold on sec, is that time skip or ? I'm a little confused here, why does Kimihiko have rumors that he is a detective? Is this school Leap time? I mean that girl is willing to hug any guy, so can that be summed up as Bitch? After saying that the girl just smiled and said "Nagisa Natsunagi" is this lucky? I mean Natsu (夏) = summer? Loved or loving? Or Tied or Tie? Arrggg, this is hard English. After returning from the toilet to wash his fingers, Natsunagi returned to Kimihiko. Kimihiko asked if Natsunagi-san was a masochist? If in the prologue they mention (Siesta), do (Komori and Siesta) have the same relationship with the organization? Komori was Kimihiko's partner before and he is now a Homunculus, damn. They call human android but I myself don't know what is human android, xD. This makes them start talking about the incident four years ago, the incident on the plane that is in the prologue. So the meeting between Siesta and Kimihiko was indeed a coincidence, at first Kimihiko became an assistant detective because of that incident. Four years ago on the plane Siesta invited Kimihiko to be his assistant in this case, They are getting close, it's just that Siesta calls Kimihiko as (Kimi 君 which means you). Conclusion, some of my questions above will be answered here. So I see, it turns out that the first time Komori and Kimihiko met was an incident on the plane four years ago. At that time, Komori was an airplane hijacker. So that's how it was originally called Watso for Kimihiko. It's starting to connect and this fact fits perfectly, all my questions above are answered in this chapter. I don't know what Komori's purpose is here, but I'll read it again. Komori challenges Siesta, if Siesta can guess what Komori's goal is to hijack the plane, then Komori will stop the hijacking action. Hearing that Komori was a little surprised because since the beginning Komori had been trapped in Siesta's plan, what exactly was the meaning of the codename. After finding out about the plan, Komori intended to kill Siesta and Kimihiko but Siesta managed to avoid and was only injured in the shoulder. The attack was not due to a gun or knife but a tentacle. Komori is a member of a secret organization (SPES). With power, knowledge and intelligence, they have created the Homunculus, and threaten the world behind the scenes Komori tries to kill Siesta and a fight scene is so awesome, Kimihiko for some reason know If Siesta's real name is Hirune no Siesta, am I missing something? (Hirune can be interpreted as a nap - 昼寝) The battle was fierce, and Siesta was starting to get cornered. Kimihiko tried several ideas to help Siesta to defeat Komori. It's just that it crossed my mind, what is Schrödinger Neko? It was an idea that would be used to defeat Komori. So the suitcase filled with liquid, as a result the liquid managed to hit Komori's tentacles. After Komori's tentacles returned to her ears, Siesta fired a red bullet. The red bullet that Siesta fired earlier was made of her (Siesta's) blood. Whoever is covered in blood cannot attack the master. That meant Komori's tentacle couldn't attack Siesta anymore. And with that, the full story of the prologue. The plane hijacking incident four years ago. Back to the real story when Komori, Natsunagi-san, and Kimihiko asked about a heart donor. Komori has indeed met the heart donor, it's just that it's been a long time. What the heck Ohhh Noo, shit... It's starting to be answered, everything is clear. Who is the heart donor, the heart that is in Natsunagi-san's body. When Komori want to attack Natsunagi with his tentacles, Komori's tentacles were destroyed and that proves that "Red thunderbolt, those tentacles won't hurt me anymore. Everything has been answered, the meeting which was considered a coincidence was fate. Basically this is not an ordinary meeting, even so ... Kimihiko thought that his meeting with Natsunagi-san was a coincidence. Hearing that Natsunagi was crying, Kimihiko only thought that this four year wait, nope... three years after the heart transplant, was considered a coincidence. If Tantei wa Mou Shindeiru (The Detective Is Already Dead) Then this romantic encounter can be said to be destiny. The identity of X is Kimihiko and the donor of the heart is Siesta., damn, I cried reading this. It's like Romeo and Juliet except that Siesta is dead and reunited. While hugging Kimihiko, if we weren't lovers, let alone friends, then what would our relationship be like? If you start this relationship and end it suddenly, is our meeting as a "goodbye / sayonara" or "Please take care of me" I like this moment. | This LN was really hyped in japan, so much that it even got an anime announcement with just 4 vols released and I think it lives up to it. Kimihiko's tendency to get caught up in troubles and somewhat solving them made him famous locally, which in turn led Nagisa to call him a famous detective. I wonder if that can be called a faithful encounter. Kimihiko was the perfect person to ask for help in finding who Nagisa's heart donor was, moreso when it is revealed that the donor is actually the one he partnered with for 3 years. This is somewhat weird as it is later revealed that Siesta died during a mission and a heart should be transplanted within 4-6 hours. There's definitely something else going on. After finding out Siesta's circumstances and that Kimihiko was the person Nagisa's heart was looking for, she decides to take the title of 'Famous Detective' for herself Androids and 《SPES》, the organization Siesta was fighting against takes a major part in Yui's case too where she was threatened by them to kill Kimihiko. That proves how deep it runs. It was nice that Nagisa managed to convince Yui to join their side. A nice funding source secured Another important thing to note was that Nagisa managed to converse with Siesta in her dreams, though she wasn't sure if that was the actual one or someone made by her subconscious. The actual part that took me by surprise was that Nagisa managed to give control of her body to Siesta, who is supposed to be dead. It clearly implies that something unnatural was behind her demise. She even made a deal with Nagisa that in exchange for her taking control of the body, she wishes for them to defeat 《SPES》. Even though each chapter started differently, I really liked how they managed to connect them with each other. The 1st volume ends with the same announcement that started this story. I'll be looking forward to the next volume. |
| Update and additional I came back to read the second chapter, so this is in addition to the summary above. There was a reason why the spes were aiming for Saikawa's left eye. The artificial left eye can see through objects. Idk, what does mean by object... This LN is so hard, really. There was a reason why Kimihiko knew that Saikawa's left eye could see objects. Kimihiko did some research, and tried watching Saikawa's live concert event, Kimihiko found that the audience who was that far away could see Saikawa clearly it looked strange. Because the spectator stands were huge, so people must have had a different point of view to see Saikawa. However, this does not apply to the Saikawa concert, because the object caught by the audience's eyes is the same as the audience in the front row. Am I wrong on this? Natsunagi invites Saikawa to work together and become friends, damn look at this illust. Fun Fact : Saikawa is a 14 YO  A week after Saikawa's live concert at the Dome, summer school holidays have finally arrived. This was the perfect time to follow up on the promise Kimihiko made with Natsunagi and the others. It's just, I thought they want to go to the nearest ocean*... Charl complains and says that Charl will not be friends with Kimihiko. Charl is a mulatto American and Japanese, Charl is the same age as Siesta. Thats right, Charl and Siesta are Master and students, Charl met Siesta a long time ago, at least the one who knew Siesta first was Charl. Siesta said to Charl "if Siesta wants to thank Charl for helping Siesta so many times" Siesta tells Chair to sleep on her lap and you can see this illustration. Charl still doesn't want to be friends with Kimihiko, Kimihiko teases Charl and says that "Are you angry that I snatched Siesta from you?" Kimihiko panicked because that expression could mean that Kimihiko was claiming that Siesta was his own, like confession? They are still not close, Siesta gives advice to them, Siesta says that "Humans are not perfect beings, so we need each other, we must not hate each other." Charl tells Kimihiko not to interfere, but Kimihiko wants to return to being a detective. Natsunagi spoke to Charl, Charlotte was not surprised because basically Charlotte knew that Sista's heart was in Natsunagi. Charlotte left after insulting Natsunagi, Natsuna was annoyed and called Charlotte a gorilla, lol. Natsunagi is determined to find Siesta's legacy, because Natsunagi truly understands her feelings. Besides, the one to blame or insult was Kimihiko, Kimihiko thought that he deserved to be insulted because since Siesta's death, Kimihiko always pretends not to know Siesta, as a result Kimihiko always runs away from reality. There were many questions for Natsunagi (Siesta's personality) but Kimihiko wanted to end this quickly. Natsunagi (Siesta's personality) took out a white suitcase and a gun appeared out of nowhere…. Then Siesta lend a hand and said "Will you be my assistant?" Look at this illust This is a fight between Kimihiko and Natsunagi (Siesta's Personality) vs Chameleon. As the fight went on they evoked their memories of the past year, or another. Kimihiko who was in the back line reminded Natsunagi (Siesta's personality) that it was Natsunagi's body so Natsunagi (Siesta's personality) couldn't move freely like her real body, I mean Siesta is trained whereas Natsunagi is not. Moreover, during their fight they also mentioned when Siesta and Kimihiko went to the Casino and for the first time they drank wine, even though they were underage. Kimihiko teased Natsunagi (Siesta's personality) when she was drunk from drinking wine, they already did Hhhmmm... U know what I mean, Hearing that Natsunagi (Siesta's personality) blushed, actually she didn't remember because she was drunk. Back to the fight, Siesta and Kimihiko looked at Chameleon, it seems Chameleon is undergoing a transformation, that's right, it looks like a monster and the fight will become more intens. The fight was pretty crazy, to the point where the moment Kimihiko was dragged and lifted up, It reminded Kimihiko when three years ago he was saved by Siesta three years ago. Then Kimihiko said that he was more suited to being dragged around like this by Siesta. All passengers and crew were rescued by the Saikawa family's spare cruise ship and they all survived. Siesta's last words before disappearing were to tell Kimihiko to get along with Charlotte, it was more of Charlotte's question to Kimihiko. Charlotte smiled and one day Charlotte wanted to invite Kimihiko to go to the flower shop to visit Siesta's grave, Because basically Charlotte doesn't know what kind of flowers to bring, so Charlotte invites Kimihiko to choose flowers. Kimihiko and Charlotte split up, Kimihiko went to the bar, it had a slightly similar design to the previous yacht. Kimihiko met with Natsunagi at the bar, They joke about their outfits, because previously Natsunagi met Kimihiko in a fancy dress, and now it's at the bottom of the ocean, lol.Kimihiko and Natsunagi (Siesta's Personality) barely escape by jumping into the ocean when the yacht sinks. They took the planks, and were saved by the lifeboats, I guess. The reason for that was, they lost consciousness when they were rescued, and by the time they woke up, they were already on this Cruise ship. And Natsunagi are Natsunagi not Siesta anymore. Kimihiko wants Natsunagi to become a detective, with some persuasion, Natsunagi finally wants to become a detective, Natsunagi basically promised Siesta before they swapped personalities. Besides that, the inheritance that Siesta was referring to was the four of them. [B]Nagisa Natsunagi, Yui Saikawa, Charlotte Arisaka Andersen, "Kimihiko Kimizuka—I hope the four of you beat SPES."
