| Oh yeah, that was a great ass start to a season. Nice to see the freedom academy doing well, Rimuru's students are in good hands with Tiss. So we backtracking a little to before Rimuru permanently left the teacher life. So much for peaceful negotiations lmao, let's fucking go Shion, the fights are awesome so far. Youm is really cool as well, Hakurou is a beast teacher. The OP is just as good as the others, but the ED is probably my favorite one so far, both are bangers. |

| Finished rewatching season 1 and it went from not caring about it to disliking it a lot by the end, and season 2's not off to a hot start itself. The episode was weirdly structured with the backtracking to season 1 and continuity issues featured a bit, and then tons of recap elements too after, and then the pacing slows down pretty much for this episode as the delegation from Eurazania arrived and already random fights happening with Shion and Youm involved here. Idk, not a fan of this. TRUE opening song still nice though, easily prefer this over the first season's mediocre opening songs. |

| I guess having fights with a militant country's delegation is one way to attain peace. We already knew Shion was mad strong but also nice to see Champion Youm being able to hold his own in battle. |

| Pretty good first episode, a bit of a recap of what happened last season and first half was pretty chill. Second half we're getting back into the story, as usual people are underestimating Rirumu. |

| Can't help but recap the past events, even though there are plenty of those recaps already lol. Anyways peace talks without thrashing one another aren't possible, are they? And so, the delegation arrived and we already have matchups set up. Though tiger woman or whatever was talking too much anyways, hope Shion takes her time. Decent start. |

| Starting season 2 and we get to see a sneak peak on veldora human form. The fight between the flat tiger girl and the tity kijin was impressive. |
