Just watch only the other 2 series. This season is not wixoss. It's insult to the old fans

You don’t to understand the plot. WIXOSS is a card game, and both series are based on the game. That is so far the only connection.

I think the first two seasons (Selector) are amazing though, I loved them. Do watch them if you have the time and if you feel like it. Lostorage is quite a bit worse so you can pass on that.

apparently you don't need to watch wixoss to understand this, but after watching the first episode it really seems like a piece of crap.
the first two seasons, Infected and Spread were really good then the third and fourth lostorage Incited and Conflated were not good but not so bad either.
this last season seems pretty fucking bad so far.
