Manga in the Manga Store need to have an entry in the MAL database (or at least, that’s what I assume is the case), and seeing that “Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho” has the Japanese word for “cloud” in the title, I’m assuming the mods decided to attach “Beyond the Clouds” to that instead. It is quite confusing, though, considering how they are two completely different series. What infuriates me more, though, is that some other manga in the Manga Store are attached to completely different manga in the database, even when that manga has its own entry in the database. Someone really needs to check these things. |
