a conundrum

I'm really enjoying this series, but there's a clear issue I have, not with the series itself but rather adaptation.

checking on the crunchyroll manga site where they have simulpubbed the manga, it seems episode 7 adapted through chapter 14, in a sense it seems to be 2 chapters per episode.

There are currently 55 chapters, but anime won't get half of that. I can hope that the series will get a season 2, hopefully even a season 3, since I want to see how everything plays out.

However, I don't know if the series is popular enough to get that kind of thing, as japanese anime fans from what I've heard, aren't that into series with a lot of death(supposedly, I have extreme doubts on whether that's the case considering AoT has done VERY well, though that might be the exception not the rule).

So if that's the case, it would be up to foreign popularity like say, the U.S., as there have been cases where popularity in the U.S.A has led to more seasons, i.e. Black Clover, Dr. Stone, Shield Hero, even Hero Aca to an extent.

The only issue is that Nana had to come out in a busy season where there are A LOT of great, or hype shows to overshadow it, and currently it doesn't seem to be doing numbers on MAL that would warrant there being a hypothetical shift of sort.

This is just kind of bothering me, ya know. I hope there's more, but it depends on how well its doing in Japan.

It will be sad if there will be no s2, mainly because the plot pretty much starts from there and plot in latest manga chapters is really interesting.
But hey even terrible shows like Arifureta are getting s2. So I will keep my hopes for s2

If this doesn't get a season 2, there will be no one more disappointed than me. Will just have to read the manga then but it'd still be a shame

Ive read until chap 45 of the manga and and Will be very sad dont have a S2 cuz at that point nana is a relly interesting character and show theit feelings about her work.
