Finished volume 2 and the first 4 chapters out of the 6 were some of the most forgettable chapters I've come across. It felt like genuine filler to me, in a light novel where the writing is already as barebones as it is and boy it wasn't good filler either.

The fifth chapter which showed Karen Tendou and Keita Amano go out for a stroll and essentially have a date that isn't a date was way better than the previous 4 chapters, and overall, it was okay. Nothing really special about it except Amano's number of contradictions when it comes to games and competing but at least them interacting and sort of developing their bond in that chapter was good enough for me.

The final chapter was really bad but in a pretty fun way too. It genuinely felt like an armageddon of misunderstandings were happening with the perfect ending to it all too with Karen and Keita agreeing to go out with even more misunderstandings involved. It was way overexaggerated but for the better to make this stupid chapter to be a lot more fun reading it, especially when seeing how the author continuously just kept on switching perspectives of main characters in that chapter as I just witness more misunderstandings occur in their thoughts. It felt like a multi-layered parody for the most part.

The volume itself I'd say was poor since the first 4 chapters were terrible for me but the final two were okay enough in different ways to save the overall volume a little bit.
