very predictable and a little stereotypical especially with the line “she is fragile and easily damaged” with a dramatic pause then followed by “so i’ll carry her home myself.” however the main character is so unbearable yet so funny that it’s amusing to watch her very obviously become more obsessive as it progresses. overall it was so cheesy and likeable to me yet entirely comparable in the sense of watching most heart-gushing romance that i’ve seen that has given me any dramatic kind of excitement just from watching if i’m being honest, however it was visually satisfying and ‘okay enough’ for me if that makes sense. a chaotic, cheesy and quick romance with good music to help wind down a little.

My problem with lots of retro romance is how hysterical all the characters can be, and although this thing had a lot of "plot", so to call it, it sure felt way too crammed because of the short duration.
