| Simple sweat romance and accepting yourself. Character can get annoying and supranatural stuff make few sense. But other wise, fun romcom with pretty decent drama. 8/10. |

| welp nice to see a happy ending as expected. ngl a part of me was hoping to see this end in a tragedy but it is what it is lol Overall, I'm actually quite surprised with the direction this went. Thought it was just gonna be another generic romcom with the death thing, but it surprisingly went a lot darker than expected. Well sorta, they did kinda bring up a lot of points but never really expanded on them. Like Hikari, Umi's dad and her not wanting to deal with others, and especially the yandere girl they never really showed her afterward. I mean, I think it did a good job showcasing the subjects, but I wished they went into a bit more detail regarding them, felt kind rushed in that aspect As for the main couple, idk. On one hand, I do like how they both progressed and how Tarou sorta became more confident in himself as well as how Umi slowly realized her true feelings (a bit like Tamako Love Story in that sense) but I am kinda disappointed that we never really got to see more of Umi's "true" self apart from tad bits here and there. It just made their romantic moments feel less natural at times Overall I say 6/10 mainly because how some of the drama was done midway through was pretty stupid and also that yandere girl got away wayyyyyyyyyy too scott free for the shit that she did |

| Fairly disappointed with the direction the story went ever since "fate" started throwing the kitchen sink at Umi. I feel like it would have been much more compelling if Umi had to resolve her inner turmoil on a deeper level than simply "be more selfish" before approaching the relationship on steady ground. Still a solid work on the whole. |

| It was so cute and wholesome, Umi is an angel, loved the manga. I'm watching the currently airing J-drama as well, some differences compared to the manga so far but that's good too. |
