| The starting scene made me confused at first. I thought Kurumi came to this world after dying by Queen's hand but nah that was just a scene from later. So this is the Kurumi that died after going on a Date with Shido. Really happy to see her again. I was wondering that for some reason this Kurumi feels different than her usual self and it was cause she was that Kurumi. Anyway pretty interesting episode. A lot of new characters introduced and a battle royal is happening. We already know that Queen and Kurumi will be the last one to fight. Still it's gonna be fun to see how it progresses to that situation. Looking forward to the second part. |

| Seems like this was only a prequel to the movie, animation is pretty ok only have to get used to the different style. Was this about the kurumi clone which was consumed in season 1? bit confused what is really going on here since i never read the date a bullet manga. Queen's look reminds me of Esdeath and Altair from re:creators |
| The animation was overall great, I'm not actually interest on the Date a live series although I do like Kurumi and looks like this all about her backstory it was not finished yet tho they are still producing the next one, so tbh Kurumi is one of my waifu out there and I'm glad that they make a backstory of it and when she said that where that she will always love him? Is she talking about Shido it seems interesting to me I thought that she was only after for his power.... |

The problem here is that MAL calls everything that has an event screening a movie, which creates misunderstandings, but that's not always the case, just as this one. We could say it's like an OVA, because it's going to have a second part, and depending on how it sells, they might re-adapt it into a TV Series or a movie series. |

| It was a nice, but a short movie. Loved Kurumi and her voice actor, especially when she laughs. Wish there was more of it. This looks more like a prequel OVA to a upcoming TV series than a "movie". |

| I feel so weird because everyone giving it 8s and 10s and I just feel like it was kinda subpar, the animation felt off to me. I enjoyed the story, but from a technical standpoint it feels weak. I'm also notoriously anti Kurumi, so that could be it too. |

| Pretty decent, though have no idea what is happening ... The art looks pretty good, but low frames make it hard to watch sometimes, even just for 24 minutes ... Kinda obvious that Hibiki should have some ulterior motives or something up her sleeve (suspect her being crazy and she killed her friend) Waiting for more. |

| I don't consider myself a big DAL fan by any means but I do like my Kurumi moments. With that said, you'd think this'd be a hit for me, but I'm afraid not... Aside from the poor framerate, the art style is pretty nice so I can live with this. Just getting it out there, first. Now. It's obviously disappointing that the screening time-span turned out to be just 25 odd minutes but the thing is I don't get a thing and the flow of the story didn't really make me want to even. Maybe Part 2 will amend a few things and I'm hoping it will but for the time being, it's a disappointment from here. |

| Aaaaaah my favorite girl from Date A Live is back on stage, for only 24 minutes but still satisfying I found the story intriguing (at least the universe) but it felt too short. I truly hope the next movie will be longer to explain everything that needs an explanation (as well as characters introducing). |

| the actual series, date a live, was not my cup of tea but, Tokisaki Kurumi was always the best girl, both when she was introduced acting like a human, and as a spirit, this one feels, weak, I mean, is Kurumi alright, Kurumi after she died, so it kinda suits her to have calmed down (asides from the ara ara's, those leveled up) but still, this is not (yet) the peak Kurumi we love, and I feel bad for this only to be a screening, a quasi ova, this would be nice as a movie or short anime, oh well, let's wait and see. |

| I think it was ok because it still at the beginning of the story. This story is about the other Kurumi (the one that already falls in love with Shido). When I was watching the OVA episode, I was feeling bad for this Kurumi and luckily, this story is about her after she was "killed" (because at the beginning of the story she asked where did Spirit after they die so, I suppose that she had died.). I really hope that her wish she to be alive and stay with Shido. |
| Did Kurumi just transcend time? It feels like she jumped into the future. Also Hibiki kinda looks like Neko from K. Made me think this was a crossover. |

| Besides the fact that this is the usual battle royale set-up - "kill everyone else, get a wish granted" - this was nothing short of an incoherent mess. It feels like we've flown through an entire cour of events within the space of a single episode and the end result is jarring to say the least. This basically seems to be trading on people liking Kurumi and assuming that will be enough for people to enjoy it. Either that, or it's assuming that people already know the Date a Bullet story and that they can fly through it without anyone batting an eyelid. My least favourite entry in the Date a Live franchise so far, as it's just completely nonsensical and rushed. 5/10 |

I read the novel and this is my reaction after all this waiting: Drawings and the first fighting scene are cool, but the rest is bullshit. It's a complete and different story. My votes here are always very high, but this time I give it a 4/10 |
| Been waiting for this a long time ...... Since I don't read the novel I can only judge by the anime quality . The art-style is gorgeous ❤️ Surely Kurumi does look younger ( I don't know if that's how it is supposed to be ) but Kurumi is Kurumi ! She'll always be my waifu ❤️ As for the story the intro and the ending moments was superb but the rest of the episode felt a bit of. Well this whole episode was just a introductory for the character . The real FIGHT will be in the next episode . Look forward to it ❤️ |

| This is supposed to be a prologue? But apparently Fragment readers say this isn't the adaptation of the story?? Quite confusing. Because although I have nearly finished the main LN, I just know Queen is there in Date a Bullet... Also kek at the viewers who are watching DaL only for Kurumi. Let's hope they come to their senses and do something meaningful in the next movie. Still going to give it 6/10 because I didn't have to pay money or time. |

| disappointed that this is just a 20 minute introductory piece rather than a full blown movie. kinda interested in seeing more wish Kurumi would wreck shop on the doll girl rather have anti-Kurumi one shotting. also the visuals looks ALOT better than DAL season 3 |

| No offense I give 9 not because ''Kurumi''. this is amazing for me. Animation is great, story simple but deep. Kurumi had been sent to parralel world in battle royale.Sounds like Kurumi this battle royale suit on her. But Queen also cool. I still choose Kurumi! |

| A girl. Kurumi. Queen? Pest? Sacrifice? Kururmi is shot? Last participant? Kururmi floats down. Game starts in 30 seconds? Sagakure Yui. LAWD JESUS! SHE IS FINE! LAWD JESUS! Yui is so fine. Waifu at first sight. With that said... as I watching and saw the flashbacks, I realized that it was from the Kurumi OVA then after watching, I had to rewatch the OVA just now. While rewatching, I remembered that this was the Kurumi I fell in love with. To be reunited in this way... I never expected. |
