This was great, especially the creativity in the setting. There was a real sense of place and the characters had all kinds of quirks to make them feel like real individuals, some humour too like Junkers wiping his forehead as if he was sweating.

The story was pretty simple, so for a while I thought maybe it would be too thin for a movie of this length, but it was just so much fun watching the interactions that I didn't really mind. One thing I didn't like though was that the monster looked a lot like the xenomorph from the Alien movies, and once I noticed that I thought that the setting also reminded me of Alien 3. It's not really a bad thing, but it does distract a bit if one source of inspiration stands out.

There's a sequel in the works, so I'm hoping it continues the story directly from where this ended.

I mean it's good stopmotion and sci-fi but the cliffhanger at the end is just disappointing... you 100% need the part two
