| Yo guys, just out of curiosity, but can't many of the sexual encounters Peter has later on counted as a kind of rape? I mean, for sure he willingly cheated in the first episode, and some other occasions can count like that too. But many other times after that it could also be viewed as if he was bribed by them to have sex with them, otherwise he would have to fear that his mistake will be made public? (or stuff like even using spells on him to get what they want? (Vegan Eldriel)) Viewing it under that aspect of course doesn't justify his actions. Just was thinking though, if the roles where reversed, if a female MC made the mistake to get seduced by a guy (or two, who knows) once, and later on gets bribed and has to fear that coming-out and so complies to the demands, I can't help but think that the "rape-aspect" would surely be mentioned. Though the story in general probably would be way more dramatic and tense instead of comical, if that was the case. Also for all those who'll instantly cry out "yada yada, how dare you try to defend him blablabla". It's only a thought and a "what if"-kind of view I stated. Iwas curious about what others might think about it. |
| To be fair; the women's arguments are legitimate. The ogres see Peter as strong and needs his seed to bare strong children. The elves also need to bare strong children because they're "physically weak." And the orcs need to create a strong bond with the humans (because they can't be rape-monster bad guys forever). I feel sorry for Peter for having to go through this. But it just proves that he is "the strongest man alive." Anybody weaker in mentality than him would've broke down a long time ago. And beating the crap out of them Looney Tunes style would just make him look like a woman-beater. That's something he doesn't want spreading around and making it into Luvellia's ears. No, for real yo. That guy's pretty strong. |
